Selamat siang dan selamat datang di Ht Indosat Ooredoo - ANZ!
Welcome to the HQ of PCT team Indosat Ooredoo - ANZ for the 2018 season! After a successful season 2017, we return and aim to achieve our goal of promotion to the highest division in world cycling - The ProTour.
Informasi latar belakang
"Background information"
We're an Indonesian team backed by the Australian branch of the Oceanic bank ANZ. Our performances during the previous season have impressed our backers enough to keep financing our team into the new season.
Apa yang kami lakukan untuk bersepeda di Asia Tenggara
"What we do for cycling in SE Asia"
Since the team's foundation, we have sought to help grow the sport of road cycling in Indonesia and neighbouring countries. We have set up and built a small number of cycling academies across the Indonesian archipelago of which have already bore fruit in the likes of Mu Arifin who joined our team from our Java academy before the start of last season. The primary aim of our rider development facilities is to aid riders of SE Asian regions (not just Indonesia) in their aspirations of cycling professionally. So far, they have been a great success!
bersepeda di masyarakat Indonesia
"Cycling in Indonesian society"
Interest in cycling has exploded since the team's first season in both professional and amatuer ranks. The International Tour of East Java continues to fascinate and amaze spectators at home and abroad. We as a team are overjoyed at the re-scheduling of the race in the PCT division again for this season and hope to finally come out on top in the GC!
Last year, the Tour de France was watched by more than 55,000,000 unique Indonesian viewers - the highest viewership of a cycling race in Indonesia yet! With the hopeful continued success of the team, this will continue to increase in the coming years. The dream of many Indonesian cycling enthusiasts is to watch their team partake in the race some day - that's why we need to continue climbing the ranks; on the distant horizon lies the likelihood of an Indonesian team participating on the world's greatest stage.
Musim yang akan datang
"The coming season"
We go into season 2018 with high hopes after a tremendous effort landed us in 9th-overall in the PCT Division last season. We attain to keep and build upon our core of Asian riders and strengthen our leading group as means to seek promotion. With newly-announced team captain and former World Champion Matt Goss, we believe that anything is possible!

M. Karagobek We say goodbye to three of our foundation riders in Hossein Nateghi, YM Banihammad and Peerapol Chawchiankiang. 3 riders that never ceased to bring everything to the table for the team over the course of their tenure, three extraordinarily reliable domestiques. They are released alongside Evgeny Russo, Mu Karagobek and Jude Libert who have served the team to a high degree. We wish all 6 riders the best for the future and hope to see them finding work amongst other teams.

I think I know a certain Spanish team that might be in need of a too-good-for-the-division mountain goat this year...
Looking forward to seeing how this roster shapes up for the season, plenty of quite very solid riders already - and a good track record in the PCT so far. Good luck

Last season I predicted you to be right at the top of the standings, I wasn't right
Now you have another season to build your squad though so maybe you'll promote this time Certainly interesting to see Benat going, could mean some big moves!
Best of luck next season, hope the Indonesians can have a big one!

That does look a very sexy jersey and it should stand out well in the peloton, Hillis has done a good job with it and I look forward to cheering it on from the division below.

@ sammyt93: We'll have to wait and see; it's not a given they'll both be off. I have many different plans swirling around in my head, so we'll just have to wait and see
@trekbmc: Thanks! I'm moreso saying that i'm open to offers for them as opposed to saying they're flat out both leaving. Depends on a bunch of different factors; budget, transfer targets, transfer market in general etc. etc. But i'm hopeful I can come away with a better squad post-transfers at the very least
@jandal7: Thanks An Indonesian will certainly win a GT within 10 years, you heard it here first (and hopefully a Kiwi too)
At the very least their wages are very reasonable which should attract a little bit of interest at the very least. If Benat remembers how to stay on his bike he may be welcome to stay
@Aquarius97: Who doesn't love Spanish climbers, right?

Yeah an Indonesian GT winnerr... Jams with a 40 minute breakaway Or Arifin with many breakaways <3 And yes, hopefully a Kiwi too - but it will be a very expensive process to train any of the current batch, so hopefully soon a great talent gets added that isn't turned into a boring faceless Morton-helping drone
Lovely jersey, should stand out once again, and we'll all see a lot of it at the front

@sammyt93: Thanks, extremely sexy indeed! Better than we could have imagined
@jandal7: I've got a feeling next season's the season we'll see non-Australian break out stars from SE Asia and Oceania added, but maybe i'm a little optimistic

The team was fairly active during the recent transfer window; a number of key riders were brought in, a number decided to try their luck elsewhere. Here's some of our first signed riders:
Martijn Keizer Transfer from Aegon - Lavazza Keizer on his way to victory in the 2015 Tour of Andorra Last name | First name | Flt | Mtn | Hil | ITT | Sta | Res | Rec | Cbl | Spr | Acc | Ftr | Dhl | Prl | Age | Pot | OVL | $$$ | Keizer | Martijn | 72 | 81 | 71 | 81 | 75 | 79 | 79 | 59 | 57 | 73 | 72 | 61 | 81 | 30 | 6 | 79.19 | € 550,000 |
Keizer is a rider who's season schedule we already had sorted for him before the transfer season even began. Our #1 priority with the likey departure of former GC-captain Benat Intxausti, the team moved to bring him into the team the moment the flag dropped and the transfer madness began. He was signed for a team-record 2,300,000; eclipsing the former record of 1,500,000 used for the signing of Intxausti. Keizer doubles up as a fantastic time-trialist who no doubt will be one of the best in the division. The competition in the PCT-division is fierce; the addition of former PT high-flyers Pluchkin and Coppel for the upcoming season will definitely make Keizer's job more difficult. The squad's mountain core has seen a few new additions to assist Keizer, such as;
John-Lee Augustyn
Transfer from the FA, 50,000 JLA looking very impressed after signing with the team Last name | First name | Flt | Mtn | Hil | ITT | Sta | Res | Rec | Cbl | Spr | Acc | Ftr | Dhl | Prl | Age | Pot | OVL | $$$ | Augustyn | John-Lee | 76 | 77 | 75 | 71 | 74 | 72 | 72 | 60 | 60 | 68 | 75 | 61 | 71 | 32 | 6 | 74.80 | € 50,000 |
J-LA joins us after the unfortunate disbandment of his former team, Project: Africa. He was signed very early into the transfer window for a mere 50,000. He's a fantastic and accomplished stage-racer who'll slot in amongst Gregory Brenes, GP Signorini and our other new arrivals in their endeavour to support Martijn Keizer throughout the season.
Meron Russom Russom seeing all the extra 00's that'll get added to his contract next season if he rides well Last name | First name | Flt | Mtn | Hil | ITT | Sta | Res | Rec | Cbl | Spr | Acc | Ftr | Dhl | Prl | Age | Pot | OVL | $$$ | Russom | Meron | 69 | 76 | 73 | 72 | 76 | 71 | 71 | 59 | 62 | 63 | 67 | 65 | 72 | 31 | 6 | 73.64 | € 50,00 |
Russom is another product of the defunct Project: Africa team. As with J-LA, he's quite long in the tooth and is another welcome addition to the Indosat retirement village. Russom will be an extremely helpful domestique for Keizer and Brenes for this upcoming season, and will also have his own opportunities during 2 C2 races to lead. We're excited to have signed another African rider to our squad (with J-LA being our first) in our attempt to have a rider from each continent on our team (SA still eludes us ). We look forward to these next few seasons with Russom as part of our climbing core.
+ more to come!
