Born out of the ashes of Sodexo ProCycling, La Poste presented by Mavic is the first Gabonese in the PCM.Daily ManGame peleton.
*****
After a difficult first season in the ManGame, a change was needed. Originally, the plan was to take French Cycling back to the top of the world in the sport, but it seems Festina-Canal+ was already ahead of the game with that, winning the ProTour title in 2015. There was also the issue of a very congested market for riders from l’Hexagone.
*****
The change of direction was towards Africa, and the Francophone speaking nations. Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia all showed their appeal, but in the end, the Gabon stood out the most. As a developing nation within cycling, they offer an attractive option and we will join the likes of Kenya Airways - Dimension Data, Project: Africa and Eritel – Sonatrach in the promotion of African cycling.

Good luck this season! Hoping you'll have a successful season, as it's great to see another African team in the CT. Actually secretly hoping you'll take a few of my lesser riders who've done a great job in the lower divisions over the years.
From your three nations, I guess Chaoufi, R.Chaabane and even Ben Nasser are all available, with Ghdamsi also released last year. I guess we'll meet in the transfer season though whatever happens.
Will be interesting to see if as a Gabonese team you go for Bakari. If you do, maybe we could sort out a PT loan to max him out... |

@froome: Thanks a lot - as I said in your HQ, we will be having a few discussions during the transfer period. Bakari might be taking into consideration, especially if a PT loan was on the cards to get him maxed
@matt: We have a base, and new bigger and better leaders have been targeted across all areas. I like this year's jersey. Spent a lot of time making sure it is right, and it was adjusted many times. I'm going for a classic look, and the equipment will match it.
@danny: Thanks a lot - I hope to have a better season than last year, and be a challenger. Look forward to the equipment you are making. Will look good with my new frames

Over the last couple of weeks, our new Bike Sponsor for the 2nd season in the CT ManGame Peleton, Peugeot, have been working hard to produce equipment worthy of matching our new jersey.
*****
Firstly, we have our Road Bikes for 2016, and we are delighted with the results. Keeping the design simple, and giving a classic look to the team, we will be riding the Peugeot RSR01 frame, with SRAM Red eTap groupset. The bike is complete with Mavic Comic Wheelset.
*****
Next, we are happy to reveal the Time Trial Bikes, which follow the same classic look and design. Named Onyx TT1, it is the road version of the recently shown Peugeot Onyx Concept Bike, and we hope that it will give us the edge against the clock this year. SRAM Red TT Groupset complements the machine, with Mavic Cosmic TT and personalised Mavic Comete Disc as the Wheelset.

Nice jerseys and lovely looking HQ already, it helps when the manager is also talented in graphical work.
Interesting shift in focus, bnut not so far from french origins, just playing the colonial game now.

@sutty: I am happy with the bikes - my first attempt at equipment
@avin:Why thank you! My graphics work does help with the HQ shift in focus was a natural progression from last season for the team. Most success came from or happened in Africa. The colonies is where the action is

During the 2015 season, a number of sponsor changes were announced, with a further one coming with the revealing of the 2016 equipment, in the form of SRAM. The Chicago based components manufacturer will provide with the Groupsets for 2016, with a contract signed through to 2018.
In addition to SRAM, La Poste Management are delighted to announce links with Unicef and Right To Play. Both companies are well-known for their work, particular in Africa, and we are delighted to have them on board.
All three sponsors will have no effect on our focus in the forthcoming Transfer Season, and as the 2016 jersey has been submitted to the MGUCI, their respective logos will not appear on the team issue kit for this season.

Following an off-season break and the addition of small hiatus, it was fantastic to hear that the MGUCI had began recommencing of the 2016 season. It has been all hands to the pump at La Poste HQ, digging out the paperwork from a few months ago, checking the C2HC bands, Race Calendar and even reassessing our Transfer Targets on a number of different spreadsheets.
We have submitted our goals for the season, which will be revealed once we are permitted to do so, but we can reveal that they are realistic, yet ambitious. Lessons have been learnt from last season, that is a certainty!
Over the coming weeks, we will keep our fans and followers updated on everything happening in the Libreville office, as we continue to countdown the season opener.
