The triple clash of Tirreno - Adriatico, Paris-Nice and this year the Grand Duche Classic make the start list very interesting.
While the climbers head towards Italy for the Tirreno, the puncheurs have to decide if they go to France for a hilly stage race or to Luxembourg for a classic.
By the look of it, the top puncheurs seem to be spread nicely over both options. And both races actually will face huge startlists, too.
 Boasson Hagen is the strongest puncheur here but history has shown, that it`s  Trofimov, who must be considered top-favourite in any race he participates.
Behind those two it`s getting very close and it`s hard to predict any order. Surely some riders have advantages with the prologue, but with 4 hilly stages, the puncheur skills should be more important.

With 3 stages that look like perfect chances for sprinters, it`s no surprise to see a huge list of top sprinters here including the feared Pokerstars, Venchi or Good Energy trains.

A nice startlist, Trofimonster will most likely win (as usual) and will have some time on Hagen after the prologue. Might be that Hagen uses that as an excuse to attack, would be great. Will also be interesting to see if any of them participate in the sprints.
In general a strong sprinting field. I had a feeling it would be and sent Zabel to Italy. Will be interesting to see how Van Stayen will do, if he win one of the flat stages he could be dangerous when the hills come around
For me I decided it was best to send Flügel here and Claeys to Luxembourg. Flügel should fight for a top 5 which would make me really happy. He will be behind when the hilly stages come around and got to attack. Also got Preidler as a nice domestique/attacker. Doubt his Mountain stat will play a role, but stage 4 and 6 might be nice stages for him

We are here with goal of doing nice in the prologue with Mikhail Ignatiev, who can then try to hold close to the first GC spots in the flat stages. (but with Tirreno prologue experience he can end anywhere in top30 in the prologue). Grosu is the other man for flat stages, hopefully some of these will be ridden hard so he can benefir from his hill stat a bit.
No GC hope for use again.
Good luck to all, Trofimov looks like sure bet for the win.

One or two of those puncheurs really could have gone to Luxembourg, imo 
Bobridge should still be capable of delivering Oz a nice overall result. At least that's my hoping. Not too confident after his poor "showing" in Badaling, but with a less packed field of premium puncheurs here, there's no excuse to miss out on crucial moves/attacks. Top-10 must be our goal.
Also Goss needs to bounce back from a poor Qatar. Won't expect him to take a stage, but a podium or two would be fair enough.. not sure about the prologue, but Coppel as the obvious top-favorite. With Durbridge, we do have yet another Ozzie, who hasn't done well in his first appearance this year

This will definitely be interesting! I just hope Boasson Hagen is in the mood to ride more aggressive than in China. He certainly needs to if we're going to avoid another disappointing race. I have high hopes he will though, as he was pretty good in stage races last season.
It's difficult to see how he's going to gap Trofimov though, meaning I think it might come down to bonus seconds if the favourites behave according to their stats. And in that case, Trofimov's sprint could prove too strong for Boasson Hagen.
Also cool to see Holst Enger listed as one of the sprinters worth watching. It would be really cool if he's allowed to test himself on one of the stages, then a top 10 will be good.

Big expectations, anything other than a stage win and at least being close to GC podium would be utter disappointment. Hard to see anyone else than Trofimov winning, even with EBH present.

It should be interesting to see the influence of the MO stat here. No matter what the influence is, Trofimov seems likely to be the strongest here. As usual.

I hope for a top 10 place, but it might become hard with the hilly stages looking rather mountainous. If Ulissi can stay with the best, his sprint should be an advantage.

I like the fact that everybody sees Trofimov as favourite but it all depends on the Mo/Hi rate of the stages. I think Stage 8 is the only real hilly stage here, Stage 4,6 and 7 will probably be more rated as mountain stages making Ricco and Taaramäe (best Prologuer) my top favourites.

Hmm took a chance on Skujins coming here, hoping for low MO/HI ratios.
My chance taking this year is not really working out - mainly because by chance I mean virtually no chance. You know the type of thing like Coppel not winning the opening prologue or Trofitruffle not winning every other stage.
Hoping to be in the fight for second on one of those stages!

Of course Trofimov has to be the top pick, but it should be interesting to see what EBH can do. Pretty stout sprinting field as well, that should be fun.

Would be great if I could get a little bit lucky with Sagan again. Can't hope for much else here though. Possibly only Vysna could get something in a lucky breakaway or Sergent in a prologue.

Well, Trofimov: save your podium-finishes for the other days, please!
Coppel with the victory, which is good somehow. Durbridge doing what I wanted him to do. 3rd seems to be Oz's new 1st in TTs now Bobridge with a nice performance as well. Hopefully a sign of his shape getting better after his Badaling disaster.

Happy that Flügel didn't loose too much time, 17 seconds behind Trofimov is acceptable
