[img-r]https://i.imgur.com/kV7Hcuf.jpg[/img-r] Caleb Ewan Our Australian leader of sprints is only 19 years old, he is one of the biggest promises in cycling. Despite his lack of experience, Caleb already has great feel for positioning and finding the right wheel. We believe in his ability to deliver us good results, we will rely on him to finish flat stages. This is his first year as a pro, so it will probably take a bit of time for him to adjust.
[img-r]https://i.imgur.com/78R52LX.jpg[/img-r] Joseph Dombrowski Joe is the leader of our mountain squad. After spending a year with Team Sky, he looks to be ready to step into bigger role, here at Sprint powered by Android. His performance in the Time Trials might be lacking a bit, but riding upwards he is as good as anyone in the Pro Continental scene. Hopefully his explosiveness will help him to achive some nice results, the talent is there for sure.
[img-r]https://i.imgur.com/AySEIdf.jpg[/img-r] Lawson CraddockOur third team leader is Lawson Craddock, who will be in charge of the hilly unit of the team. Being the best rider on the TT bike in the team and given his great ability of handling climbs, Lawson will lead us in many smaller races. His versatility allows him to ride in his own pace more and not to need to attack. Also, he is really young too, only 21 years old, so he has plenty of time and space to improve. We will try to provide the best possible situation to help him achieve his full potential.
Ewan's leadout is mostly powered by Jakob Rathe's sprinting ability, but we have several other train members as well, that can contribute greatly. Martin Gilbert, Hugo Houle or Ben Jacques-Maynes are all going to be able to get Ewan in position, or sprint for themselves. As far as our climbing domestiques, we have Chad Haga, who will certainly have some leadership opportunities too. Other than him, it's pretty thin, Gavin Mannion, Danny Pate and Ben King are the most notable names.

Australian ITT Championships
No huge expectations here, we're out of form, completely. Ewan and Lovelock - Fay are only here to gain some form and enjoy the sunshine. Flakemore on the other hand is looking to surprise the big names and show his promising talent on the TT bike.
***** Rohan Dennis
**** Richie Porte
*** Luke Durbridge
** Michael Rodgers
* Cadel Evans
The race is 44.1 kilometer long, it's generally considered as flat, but the second part contains a little hill. No steep gradients, but it goes uphill, nonetheless. Ideal route for the punchier TTers.
Mitchell Lovelock - Fay was the first out there from the team, showing of our brand new jersey. He really took it easy and finished the course 2'44 down on the winner.
Time Trialing isn't one of Caleb's strong suits, so it wasn't a big surprise to see him struggle. In the end, I told him to take it easy, as there was no point in exhausting him further more. The final time of his was 3'35 worse than the eventual winner's.
Our best hope for today's race, Campbell Flakemore was next. He rode quite slowly at the first checkpoint, coming in more than a minute behind. After that though, he gradually improved and the gap to the best time didn't go over 1'56, which ultimately got him 18th.
The winner of the race was Team Sky's Richie Porte, who exploited the hill built in the course, and managed to beat Rohan Dennis by a really slim margin, only two seconds. Congratulations!

We came into the race with no expectations as far as results go and we accomplished just that. I don't consider the 18th place as success, Campbell neither. It was decent, I guess.
Unfortunately most of the race organizers do not want us at their races, so the race option we have are limited, but we are going to work hard to show them, that they were wrong to decline our applications! |

Australian RR Championships
In the TT we had no goals. This time, it's different. Our goal in the Road Race is to achieve a top 10 placement, either via mass sprint or breakaway. Caleb told me that he is getting into good shape, so we'll be protecting him throguhout the whole course.
***** Simon Gerrans
**** Richie Porte
*** Cadel Evans
** Michael Matthews
* Michael Rogers
The course around the town of Buninyong is 176 kilometres long. The peloton will complete 19 laps on the circuit, which includes a pretty rough climb, which has the potential to decide the whole race.
After several unsuccessful tries, a break of 10 managed to get away. Several quality riders such as Von Hoff and Lloyd were up there, along with our very own Campbell Flakemore, who was feeling quite good. The break worked well together and managed to open up a gap of around 6 minutes.
The peloton was controlled by Orica and partly BMC, but the two WT teams were unable to initate a quality chase. This resulted in a huge morale boost amongst breakaway riders, which had a huge impact, as they increased their lead to more than 10 minutes. We couldn't be happier, as this meant that our top 10 might just be secured.
4 riders made the decisive move on the penultimate climb. Watson, Lane, Lloyd and Sutton jumped. Unfortunately Campbell did not have the legs to join the attack.
Heading to the sprint, it seems like this was the right move! The quartet is led by Trek's Calvin Watson, who is effectively leading out Sutton. Steele Von Hoff tries to catch them, but it seems to late! Watson is still in the lead with 500m to go, can he hold on?
Yes, Calvin Watson wins the Australian Road Race Championship! Huge sprint, he managed to keep Sutton behind him! Patrick Lane rounded the podium out, while Campbell manages to achieve our goal of a top 10, as he finished 8th. Caleb came in 13th, he even beat Michael Matthews!

Honestly, I think this was a great race. The 8th place is something we can be proud of and I'm also excited to see Caleb winning the mass sprint. All in all, never a worse race and we're going to be a really successful team! |

@the_hoyle – It really looks great, stands out of the peloton really well. Thanks for stepping in.
@admirschleck – Thank you Admir, I hope to keep it this way too!
@PeterRyder, javibozada – Well, I think we did a decent job, but yeah, I'd be glad if we could improve.
@TheManxMissile – Yeah, I think it needs a bit of time, but I'd like to think that there is a decent mix of youth and veteran presence. Hope you'll stick around in the future too.
