Historical DB: 2005
So-far done Features:
- 1500 riders, 70 teams
- 90% 2005 graphics, other 10% either 2004 or 2006
- 100% original equipment brands, many of them like 2005 and 2006
- 100% original 2005 calendar (dates and races)
- Many, many 2005 stages including Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, Vuelta a Espana, Paris - Nice, Tirreno Adriatico, Volta Catalunya, Vuelta Pais Vasco, Tour de Romandie, Tour de Suisse, Criterium du Dauphine, World Championships, Setmana Catalana and maybe more coming in the future
- some 2006 races like Tour de Romandie, Tour de France, Tour of Germany etc. included
- completely remaked rider program because of the new calendar
- updated records to the year of 2004
- palmares going from 1996 - 2004 for all ProTour races and WC including stage wins, top 3-5 mountain and points classifications
- lots of real skins for riders
- over 600 of sponsors will guarantee you a long career
- 100% adjusted auto colors for each team
- rider photos for probably all riders
size: 3.4gb
Still planned Features (no promises here):
- real 2005 classic races (AGR, LBL, LFW, MSR etc.)
- real 2005 Tour of Germany, Eneco Tour and Tour of Pologne
- 100% 2005 shirts (need help here, I'm no graphics-maker)
what do you think would be important to have?
1. Unpack the part 01 on your desktop. The other parts should be automatically unpacked as well.
2. Copy the files from "Pro Cycling Manager 2013" into the folder where you installed Pro Cycling Manager 2013
Normal: C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2013
For Steam user it's: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common
Make sure you overwrite everything. I recommend you to make a backup of files like riders photos as they can overwrite the 2013 ones.
4. Copy files from the "Documents" folder into -> C:\Users\YourName\Documents\
5. Start Pro Cycling Manager 2013 and choose "2005-beta-v1".
Enjoy.
Informations for using the beta version
As the name suggests, it's not completely finished yet. So please understand that some errors can appear. If you notice some of these, like missing rider photos, wrong nationalities, wrong auto colours, crashes, freezings, missing stages, pink graphics... basically everything which seems odd to you, please report here. I will guarantee you that I fix all reported errors as long there are doable for me.

Screens look pretty good!
About the minishirts, are you planning to do all of them "PCM13-style" or 3D one? Not sure if that's part of the plans, but I think it'd look better if all minis are in the same style
About the stats, the main thing I noticed is Iban Mayo is the 2nd best climber with 82 MO. Does he really deserve to be rated that high? From what I remember, after 2004 (or better, after a certain Armstrong made the UCI glue onto Mayo/Hamilton/co tracks ) he never showed the same talent again. Unless you're giving him a high starting value but a low age of decline?
Anyway, keep it up, looking forward to the pre-beta!

@dvdgms:
Thanks, I obviously missed that.
@ lluuiiggii:
Shirts: Well, you're right, it would look better if they would be the same. Maybe I'll find some graphic guy who can help me bring the rest to "PCM13-style" as they look much better in my opinion. But it's something which isn't a particularly high priority now, especially as I'm dependent on others help there. But thanks, for noting.
Stats: I think you've got a point here. The stats aren't finished yet, though.

He is the 3rd, as Basso is tied with Lance |

So, another test day today and good news so far. Still no crash or whatsoever. I rather really liked the feeling of the two career-years while simulating.
This makes me think. Is there any interest in helping me getting the DB done while playing an early beta version? It would be mostly just playing the historical DB and keeping eyes open for errors like missing photos, wrong regions, simple errors in the DB and so on.

I am awaiting this with suspense, I must say, and will definitely try it once it's uploaded and I have the time. If possible, I'll probably start a career Saturday, but I will install it as soon as it's uploaded.
Massive cadeau for making this, bigggassi. |

No you don't need to. You just need to unpack part 01, the archiver unpacks the other parts automatically.

This are currently things to do / improve:
- correct team Managers and email addresses for the teams
- better looking logos of the teams
- revising the sponsor contracts (end dates)
- assign teams to the races and create start lists for the GTs for quick play mode (currently it has to be done via custom mode)
- Finishing Tour of Germany
If you notice anything else, just report it here.
