The Vuelta a Andalucia is the last stage race in the calendar of the mini man game. It consists of a 6,8 kilometres long prologue that is followed by each two stages that are classified as flat and as hilly.
The men on the startlist came here for mainly two reasons, one of them is obviously the fight for the General Classification, but two stages that are marked as flat also means that the minimangame elite of sprinters travelled to southern Spain. Most notable are Miche's Fabio Sabatini and Fabio Borghesi who are looking for revenge for several missed chances this season so far. Adam Pierzga is looking to continue his so far great season. Rucanor's Wim Stroetinga is another that we have to name. Also in the sprint to be considered are among others Tigran Korkotyan (América Móvil), Stephané Poulhiès and Peter Hawkins (Node4-Giordana).
Other teams are rather going for the final overall classement. It is hard to find an outstanding favourite or predict the winner here. There is a wide field of decent puncheurs, the best odds, according to Cyanide, have Kochetov (Katusha), Mate (iBanesto), Schafer (LKT), Niv (BNP Paribas) and Behcet (KazMunayGas).

Hoping that Rodrigues can continue his good form from Androrra and that de Ketele will deserve being designated captain according to the startlist.

Podiums will be difficult to achieve in Andalucia, but everything else is possible. Hope for some good stage results and a return to the virtues we showed in the early MMG season. |

A nice start to build upon!
Zoegas already achieved more MQ ranking Points in 7 km Andalucia than in the whole Bayern Rundfahrt. Hope this might be the much needed push of confidence and morale we need for the season final. |

This has been a very forgettable season for SFR, so far I think we have 1 podium (3rd) over the entire season, haven't been in contention anywhere, and today was again another lackluster performance from anyone wearing the SFR jersey. I don't think this team has any heart.
