Surprised that no one has started this yet, so I thought I'd take it upon myself to begin (even though it's rather late).
Basically, as in previous years, this is a thread where we make predictions on anything you think will happen this year - which riders will succeed where they were expected to fail, vice versa; and the like. Then after you've done that, it's fun to go back and check what you said after a year (look back at last year's thread to see all the people saying that Schleck would win the 2013 Tour with Contador 2nd for an example )
My predictions:
- Froome will win the Tour, although his gap to Nibali in 2nd will not be massive. Valverde will round off the podium, atoning for his disappointment in 2013. Van den Broeck will finish fourth (again), and Contador will show clear signs of his decline in finishing fifth.
- The Giro will be a dull affair to start, as everyone sits there waiting for that ridiculous final week, where all hell will break loose and we'll finally see a good Giro (only been four years). Quintana will it, with Rodriguez (is he doing the Giro?) finishing second, and someone like Uran finishing third.
- Continuing the trend that Chris Horner started last year, Jens Voigt will win the Vuelta.
- Either L-B-L or Lombardia will be won by a Colombian
- Sagan will win one, but only one, of M-SR, RvV and Amstel.
- Cancellara will win Paris-Roubaix, but RvV will be won by someone other than Cancellara or Boonen
- With the addition of the new climb in M-SR, the race will be not be won by a sprinter (Sagan doesn't count), someone like Nibali or even Ulissi as an outside shot
- Can't see the TdF green jersey being much different from last year, though Kittel won't win as many stages as he did in 2013.
- Gilbert will win one of the Ardennes classics
- Froome will win every stage race he participates in
- Costa will win two week-long stage races but fail in his aim to do a good Tour GC
- Wiggins will do absolutely nothing this season.
Can't think of any others at the moment, but I'm sure I will in the near future

- Sagan to grab a Monument
- Someone new to win Roubaix (not Spartacus or Tommeke)
- The Class of 2014 (Mohoric, Yates, Yates etc) to be quite good from the start, but no major wins
- Europcar to be shockingly good at times
- The French to have a great year
- More biggish name doping
Don't really care beyond that

Martin or Roche will between each other win:
- Two Monuments
- The Giro, including points and KotM Jerseys
- The Worlds
- Paris - Nice, Tirreno - Adriatico and Vuelta a Pais Vasco
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
And now, seriously:
- Sagan will take the Green Jersey at Le Tour, and Cav will win on the champs
- Either Martin or Roche will win a stage at the Giro
- Wiggins will revert to a TT rider, and do nothing in GCs
- Tony Martin will win the TT worlds once more
- A spaniard will win the RR worlds
- Purito will win one of the Italian Monuments
- Chavanel will win a cobbled race, but neither RVV nor P-R
- Stybar, Vanmarcke and Boom will all do well on the cobbles, but not win anything big
- Purito will finally win a GT
- Sagan will win a monument
And last but not least:
- Tinkoff will fall out with the Saxo Management again.

GT's:
Quintana takes his first GT win in the Giro. Purito disappoints a bit.
Tour again turns into the Sky show, but not as easy as 2013, Nibali will be a good contender and Porte disappoints as super-domestique for Froome, becuase he's tired of the Giro. Contador shows that he will never get back to the level he had before his suspension.
Purito takes revenge on his bad Giro and wins the Vuelta in a close battle with Valverde.
Cobbles:
This time, Cancellara won't dominate. Boonen won't either.
Vanmarcke wins Roubaix after barely doing anything in the rest of the cobbles.
RvV gets won by Cancellara though. GW & E3 will have surprising winners.
Hills
Cancellara wins MsR, the added hill makes a hell of a difference. (Yes I count MsR as hills now)
Sagan wins AGR, Betancur wins Flèche and Valverde manages to win LBL.
Other
The WC will be won by Nibali.
As seen, there won't really be a dominating rider in 2014.
Though Sagan will again grab a lot of victories and Froome some GCs.
This year will also be the serious breakthrough of both Aru & Kelderman, both grabbing a Top 10 Giro and some good climbing results in other races.
Kelderman also takes some nice TT results.
Kittel will be the best sprinter this year. Cavendish is getting worse and Demare gets closer to the 3 best sprinters.
Contador will be the disappointment this year.
Jungels will break through with great TT results, and Tom Dumoulin takes the first Dutch TdF stage-win in (too) many years.
Gesink won't do anything more than last year.

Vanmarcke andBoom should give Belkin a good chance in Roubaix and i am hoping thatKelderman developes into a very good GC riders and wins GT's in a few seasons time.

I predict a very strong year from the Belgians.
-Gilbert back to his strength (obviously not like 2011, but better than 2012 and 2013),
- Van Den Broeck reinvented and stronger than ever, maybe podium.
- Boonen to break a few records.
- Sagan will win the rest |

After being wrong about everything except Froome winning the Tour and Cancellara claiming both Ronde and Roubaix last year, it's time for some new predictions. Always fun to look back at these a year later!
- Contador continues getting worse, and will fail to reach the podium at both the Tour (duh) and the Vuelta
- Betancur remains in post-Giro relax mode, and wont reach early 2013 form at any point during the season
- Aru finishes ahead of Scarponi at the Giro
- Kittel cements his position as the world's best sprinter
- Provided the Lampre deal goes through, Horner wins the Giro. Otherwise that is for Porte
- Belkin will be excellent at the Tour, with Mollema on the final podium, Ten Dam also in the top 10 and a stage win for Gesink
- Still no monument win for Sagan
- Costa finishes outside the top 10 at the Tour, but wins either Amstel or LBL plus a couple of one-week races

- Rui Costa won't finish in the Tour top 10, but will win a couple of one week races and one of the Ardennes
- Stybar will win RvV
- Vanmarcke will defeat on the sprint both Cancellara and Boonen to win Paris Roubaix
- Froome will win (again) the Tour by 5 minutes+
- Nibali will finish 2nd
- Porte will win the Giro by 5+ minutes as well, and he will still help Froome like nothing happened
- Gilbert won't do anything (again)
- Valverde won't finish on the podium in the Tour, but he will finish 2nd in the Vuelta
- Purito will win the Vuelta and the WC
- Contador will fail hard and Kreuziger will be leader, to fail hard as well
- Majka takes over at SaxoBank as the supreme leader of the team after finish 3rd at the Giro |

- Froome and Contador will both win a GT this year.
- Sky will still not win the big classics.
- Kwiatowski, Stybar, Vanmarcke have big seasons with at least one big win each
- Porte will disappoint
- Sagan will win one monument and 15+ wins easily this season
- Kittel though takes the normal sprint stages in the big races against Greipel/Cavendish/Sagan
- Gilbert will be stronger taking 1 Ardennes Classic
- BMC will hugely fail this year but TvG will take California at least |

- Froome will win the Tour
- Quintana will win the Giro
- Purito will win the Vuelta and will also win 1 Ardennes Classic
- Cavendish will win the Giro points jersey but will only win 1 Tour stage
- Kittel will dominate the sprints at the Tour
- Sagan will win green at the Tour without winning a stage
- Dan martin will not defend his L-B-L title but will win an Ardennes Classic
- Contador will not win a race all year or podium at a grand tour
- Rui Costa will fail at the Tour. He will then salvage his season by taking a stage and a top 10 overall at the Vuelta. He won’t defend his World Championship title
- Tony Martin will win another World TT Championship
- Bradley Wiggins will continue to decline and won’t podium at a single World Tour race

-Boonen will retire before the end of 2014, after no results on the cobbles due to lack of performance/injury.
-Sagan will win a Monument
-Terpstra gets second place in P-R.
-Vanmarcke will disappoint this year, with only one top5-10 in a WT cobbled race.
-Andy Schleck looks set to finish top 5 in the Tour, but fails by the end of week 2 and has to go on the attack.
-Froome will lose the Tour and will either not finish or fail on the GC, thanks to a crash of some kind.
-Thomas De Gendt will have another good win but not enough to secure a solid leader position and will be forced to choose leading a small team or becoming a helper in 2015.
-Kittel will be crowned the undisputed best sprinter as Cavendish declines further.
-Teams/Managers/Race organizers will go on strike during the season after the UCI's newly announced calendar reforms for 2015.
-The Vuelta will be won by either Nicki Sorensen, Sergio Paulinho, or Damiano Cunego.
-Several low profile doping cases caught during the year, and one moderately big name caught.
-The Sky Doping/Hate thread will reach 200 pages.

There will be 2 Colombians at Giro top5.
Froome will win Tour by 5+ minutes. Contador will suck and will go home early, Kreuziger will step up later and finish late top10. But he will have top5 from Giro under his belt. Contador will podium Vuelta later.
Valverde will win Vuelta, making it 2nd Movistar GT win in 2014 after Quintana at Giro. Purito 2nd once more and Contador 3rd.
Sagan will win MSR, either GW or E3 + 2nd at RvV and 4th at AGR. Green jersey at Tour + 2stage wins. Overall, he will have 23 stage wins.
Kreuziger will finish 2nd at Tirreno, after Nibali. He will also top10 MSR, and two of ardennes classics, with possible LBL podium.
Stybar will come 2nd at Roubaix and will win a stage at Tour, most likely the cobbled stage.
Boonen will suck, but will win one classic.
Rui Costa will fight for another WC title, but will finish 5th behind Valverde, Nibali, Kreuziger and a random Colombian.
Kittel will win three stages at Tour, Cav and Greipel only one each.
