Could even be a few weeks.
There's a lot of DB work to be done I think. On the other side, the longer it takes, the bigger are the opportunities to make it a great DB

Hopefully, not as much as that Either way, Cyanide has managed to add another major bug in the last patch (WT teams only take part in WT races from April-September, or something like that), so we first have to wait for Cya to fix things in order to play a proper career.

Too many new races to list now Team list will be similar to Real Name DB, so while there'll be a few changes, ~100 teams.

I'd never heard of that, but admittedly I haven't loaded up PCM in a long time. So I did it and simulated to April
Every WT race had all the teams. What's the specifics on the bug?

WT races are fine. Its HC and lower races that WT teams dont race anymore (frome April to September). So Trentino, California for example dont have any WT teams which makes it really easy for Conti teams, as well as not being realistic.

The plus side to it, if your using a conti team that is custom...you could get an easy couple of wins. I managed to snag Talanski and TVG, and stay conti. So ToC should be easy.

That's not the plus side, what you described is exactly the problem. Big races like ToC becomes way too easy and not the challenge they should be. Therefore they are not fun to play and when it's for the main part of the season, it ruins any attempt at a fun, realistic career. |

The amount of fake and/or missing stages prevents a realistic career anyway.
Like always, you have to wait for the final patch and a good DB to be able to play a realistic career. |

Will this year's DB have some room for american teams besides north ones? I mean, at least ftom UCI América tour, teams from Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, Chile etc... And at least two or three races like vuelta a Colombia, México or Guatemala, that will make very realistic carreer added to San Luis, the USA races and maybe some brazilian.
With all te USA races and maybe two or three as i said, wont be a problem to have at least 5 south american teams to try to make a decent american calendar, because teams like San Luis, Epm or Funvic from pevious DB look very unrealistic Racing in europe or even Asia when they concéntrate their efforts just in america, hope you guys at least think about it, thank you for reading.

This is exactly why these teams aren't added - there's just not enough races to make it look realistic. And if we'd add, say, 10 races from South America, only 3 South American teams in these races would look unrealistic too, so we'd need more teams, and subsequently a few more races, until there's something like 10~15 teams and ~20 races, which will then close the "cycle" and make it look realistic. But that would be a whole new focus for the DB.
Concerning the teams you mentioned - San Luis and Funvic were never added in any PCMDaily DB, because of the reasons stated above. EPM was added because last year they raced all the major american races + several races in Europe, so it wasn't unrealistic; however since they've changed drastically their calendar this year they might be replaced by another team like 4-72 Colombia.

Mmm.. I see your point, well, at least I tried.
And yes, 472, raced several races in europe this year, it will be great to have them in this (for me) the best db.
About the races, I only said you should add 2 or 3 and make the new teams race the north american calendar, as far as i've seen there are a lot of races from there...
Anyway, you have your good reasons and I respect them, thank you for answering.

I noted that some not so common teams are riding in Colorado. A columbian team and an asian team are 2 I noticed. So, it would be very interesting if small or unknown teams where in a DB.
What is the team limit on a DB? I swear someone said they know that there is one. And true, if you had 1000 teams (example) the DB would take year or 2 to do. And I dont want to imagine load times.

Yeah, 155 or so is the limit.
But well, PCMdaily didn't choose the option to make it a huge Db, they rather make it a bit bigger, but not yet huge. It takes quite long to get to the end of the season of course in a giant DB, and most interesting teams will be in anyway
And it also takes a lot more time,'ofc
