I guess they might be playable.
But converting is probably needed as there are some new features again. While from PCM11 to PCM12 there was the difference with the "critical situations" where the leaders came to the front, it`s the time gap, profile, hill ratio changes from PCM12 to PCM13. So I guess it`s needed.
On the other hand standard are the automatic options there. So it might be the same without converting and is just needed if you make changes there. 
And good to see you with PCM13. Looking forward for the new stages. |

Thanks, guys.
Playing the stages seem to work fine. I replaced the Montasio stage from the Giro with my version from PCM12 and didn't seem to find any bugs. Gameplay was excellent as always in the mountains.
I also added it as the 1st stage of Tour Down Under and started a career. Didn't seem to affect 3D or simulation, so I guess it works without problems.
roturn has some valid points, though. I think I'll convert those stages I want to change from flat to hilly or other small things like that. Otherwise I'll just use my PCM12 ones.

And here's what I've been working on since yesterday:
2013 Int. Österreich Rundfahrt: Stage 1
I noticed that the Austria stages in game were fake, so I thought it'd be a good first thing to create for PCM13. The first stage already includes some big mountains, with a mountain top finish in Kühtai at over 2000m.
Before that, it's a long-ish circuit with another climb, Axams. It's just 3 km long, but averages almost 10%. Together, they make this a really difficult stage.
So much fun ripping the peloton to pieces on the final climb with the new mountain AI. Really selective stage as long as it's is raced hard.

Great if 2012's stages work fine in the 2013
BTW, your work is still excellent (as I said on my topic, I've taken your stages as models... ). This Austria Tour is a bit crazy with 2 difficult stages to begin ..  |

As far as I could tell with some quick tests, it should work. I can't promise that there aren't any issues, though.
2013 Int. Österreich Rundfahrt: Stage 2
Stage 2 features more climbing, and yet again an altitude finish. The road leading up to the climb is easier than yesterday, but the extreme gradients of the Kitzbüheler Horn makes up for that. It's known as one of Europe's most difficult climbs for a reason.
A bit harder to create major gaps on this stage than the first one. Had a lot of fun testing it with Austrian champion Zoidl.

2013 Int. Österreich Rundfahrt: Stage 3
Three days into the race comes the first flat stage. Or the first non-mountainous to be more exact, since there's actually a fair bit of climbing included also in this stage. Iselsberg (cat. 3) and Fronstadl (2) will both be forced before a slight uphill finish.
Despite looking quite simple, it was quite a tricky stage to put together. Travelling back and forth on the same road in the middle of the stage required a bit of extra work to avoid errors, but I succeeded in the end.
The early Iselsberg climb is a pretty nice one, with plenty of hairpins and a rather demanding average gradient.

ehm, only the Kitzbüheler Horn has a maximum gradient of 22%
I'm not saying this to criticize, just that this is one of my favorite climbs |
