I agree he could really get good GC. Maybe not win but it doesn't make sense why he isn't even in the bet.

May be so indeed, but high chances of problems as snow is possible for both MTF's during the week..

Is this Vande Velde's first race back?
Anyway, I think one of the Cofidis duo, Navarro and Le Mevel, will post a decent result. Other than that, I think Rodriguez looks like a safe bet.

This has Purito written all over it. I just hope the mountain stages wont be cancelled like last year. It does seem rather likely though, if MSR is anything to go by.

These are the mountain passes from stage 4 and 5
Port del Cantó (In my opinion it's 1 category... 23km 4'5%)
Port Ainé (18'9km 6'34%)
Stage 5 :
Vallter 2000 (12'1km 7'5%)
I will go to the finish of this stages and the last stage in Barcelona |

I think it's between Valverde and Purito (I have a PCM-bet on Purito). VDB can finish high too, but he never wins so he probably ends up on place 2, 3 or 4.
Horner and Scarponi are in pretty good form as well, I don't know about the rest.
Btw, is there still anyone left who thinks Gesink can win this. I don't understand why he's in the betting and Horner not. |
