First of all, sorry if I missed the article or put this thread in the wrong forum.
I am looking to add a new rider into my career savegame. A rider that I had in the 2011 edition. Don't know the stats of him precisely, but I'll go figure something. I looked in Lach's Editor but there were so many columns that I decided to go over here and see if I could get a guide to adding players.
Hopes are some of you can help me, thanks in advance! |

Well, basically you have to add the line and the info in CQ Ranking. If you're unsure of what to put in a column, you can always put what the majority of the riders have, or also ask here what that column means. Then if you want to add the rider in your team, you should put your team ID in fkIDteam and create a new line with a contract for your rider in DYN_contract_cyclist.

There's like 3 or for lines for every stat, too.. |

OK I honestly don't know how that happened.

You probably clicked 'post' twice
Well, one line is for the actual value of the stat (charac_i_stat), the next is related to development of the stat (capital_f_stat - see the first lines here for more info) and the last is related to the limit up to which that stat can develop (limit_i_stat).

Guess it's pretty useless, but what do I fill into fkIDtype_leader? |

The type of racing program he'll have according to table STA_type_leader. If you're in the offseason this doesn't really matter, since in the new year he'll receive a new one I guess. In any case, you could find a rider with very similar stats and copy the type_leader he has to your rider

I see two values in the column charac_i_charisme, both 0 and 55. Any idea what it's for? |

Afaik it's either a left-over from earlier games or something that never was fully implemented, so doesn't really matter what you put there.

The number that the rider is using if he's in a stage race. Therefore yours should have 0.

Tried to open my savegame. Went well, until I clicked the riders tab. Game crashes. |

gene_i_year_progression/day_progression: related to training progress, more specifically the speed of development.
A brief explanation: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....ost_545641
A more complete explanation about their effect would be the day to day progression thread that I linked some posts above.

Still don't quite get that, but I am more concerned about the fact my savegame crashes... Thought it might've been a contract issue, but that at least wasn't the entire issue. |

gene_i_year_progression: from 1 to 5, defines the speed of progress. So if a rider has a 1, he'll have the slowest progression; if 3, the average speed of progression, and if 5, the fastest f.e.
gene_i_day_progression: number of days left until the rider will have stat boosts.
But indeed I hardly think they'd make the game crash, try checking all your edits.

It crashes specifically when I open the team roster screen. My guess would be there's something conflicting he can't show or something. First I figured it would be a contract issue (he was on my team but didn't have a contract linking him to my team). After that I made some small changes but it still crashes.
EDIT: Is there any stuff I NEED to fill in aside from DYN_contract_cyclist? That could be an issue then

Here goes. And yeah, the guy went crazy on mountain stat around his 23rd year. And yeah, I cheat alot. I just want to have a good game without having to think hard on finances and stuff.
EDIT: It's Jonathan Dittrich, highest ID in the save, by the way.

Well, I tried editing some stuff and it seems to be working now. Clicking on squad works, clicking on the rider works, simulating some day works. Make sure you keep a backup, though, in case it crashes at a future point, though I'd find that unlikely. If it happens, though, try adding him in the off-season, where it's recomended to do most savegame edits
The save is attached
