Riders who regularly take part in the Tour of Picardy are familiar with the pitfalls that the region can hold in store for them. The experts of bordure formations may well take advantage of the wind that blows by the seaside during the whole first part of the stage, which will boasts very beautiful scenery. The favourite riders in the race will have to be extremely careful, as they know how hard it is to make up for lost time caused by their carelessness at the beginning of the Tour.

Will Cav make it 2/2 for him or will Gorilla spoil the party ? Expect few attacks on the last hill and close call between furious peleton and late escapees. Will Sky maintain their 'all podium place' so far in this Tour ?

Wind please? Bah, not even the wind can make that interesting I'm afraid. Another for Cavendish.

Does anyone know if the last climb is hard enough to cause some disruption?

This one is for Cav without a doubt. And seeing how Greipel managed todays stage he is certainly in no. 2 infront of Goss.
Kittel could have problems getting to the finishline with the speedbump, what do you guys think?

Can't see Kittel making it, still needs to recover from his illness aswell as the route not being ideal in the run in.
Pretty sure Greipel will win a stage at some point, so maybe tomorrow. Should be another interesting battle.

Greipel I think. Lotto has their lead out working well. If GE can get their act together then I think Goss will almost certainly take it though.

This. Cavendish is the only one who I can see coming around Greipel when he gets the perfect leadout. Goss is quick, but I think he's still a level behind.
If Cavendish finds his way to the front, he'll win again though.

Wasn't Greipel up there at the half of the climb today? I think this climb might drop the tired/ill/injured riders and also that ones that wouldn't come over speed bumps, so I think it's another Cavendish vs. Greipel with Goss who might challenge them.

He was, until just after the crash. The effort blew him up completely though.

****Cavendish, Greipel
*** Sagan Goss, Pettacchi
**Hutorovich, Farrar, Renshaw, Freire, Haedo, Veelers, Van Hummel
*Boasson Hagen (Cav), Chavenel, Hunter, Dumoulin, Roelandts, Albasini, Velits,
No Bozic because of injuries. No Kittel with climb. He had a hard day in the mountains today.

A pity that they don't follow the coast all the way. Well, probably Cav, Greipel or Goss then. Sagan needs OSS to performe tomorrow. He was horrible yesterday.

*****Another rider (i think sky is not going to bring the breakaway back, and if it's not a thread for yellow jersey, the breakaway will be there for stage win. FDJ, Europcar, Saxo Bank... ) |

On stage 2 Sky did not work at all. It was basically Argos, Lotto and RSNT working And they still caught the break.

There are more time differences now than yesterday. If Radioshack doesnt mind... the break could be there.
I also would like to see the wind tomorrow... it will not help the break, but also it can split the bunch and make harder the chase. |
