Are startlists not working or do you have to put them into a different location? I'm putting them into Users/my_username/import. I'am using PCMFastEditor to create them. For the Tour the France, I called the startlist France - Grand Tour.xml.
This should work, no? |

You have to put the startlist almost in Users/my_username/export/startlist.
At least, in PCM2011 that was the correct way. Try and tell us... |

Hi again!
I've been trying all the morning and it has not been possible to make a starlist work...
I'm really desperate with the new game (until this moment...).
I hope someone could help us.

Unfortunately, no! Startlists seem to be broken this year. Hopefully, this will be fixed.

That was not the correct way in PCM11

Does PCM12 have an inbuilt startlist builder - like PCM11 did - which you can access through the database menu?
If it does, then you could create one there and see where that file gets created.

I did try the inbuilt startlist editor, but this one does not list the rider per team. It just simply presents a list with ALL riders (no matter what team you have selected). This whole process is very tedious, and I gave up. |

Youre missing my point.
Create a startlist with the startlist editor.
See where that file is saved to.
Place the startlists that youve made into the same folder as that file.

Not related to SN's point, but can't you check the team filter to show only riders from the team like in PCM11 (see screen)?

The game create the startlist in Users/my_username/import.
In any case it seems to be a bug because the startlists do not work...

That's how it is supposed to work? In PCM12 the list shows all riders no matter what team you select in the drop-down list

Someone in the Cyanide technical forums just said that the startlists are not activated yet, whatever that means
But if I remember right, the startlists were not working in PCM11 at the very beginning either. So maybe we have to wait for a future patch.

Can you post a screen of the PCM12 startlist tool?

Looks the same as the PCM11 tool with the only exception that changing the team/country has no effect on what's displayed in the list. The list will always contain all riders from the database. |

Yes, but is there a mark to be checked? Otherwise it wouldn't make sense to have a team/country list. In PCM11 it's also uneffective unless you have the team/country filter check box checked.

I just checked, and there is a box to check, which then "enables" the team feature and or country feature

This is not the official forum. You would have to contact Cyanide if you want it to be fixed. But they are aware of it already. |
