I've downloaded the 2012 update beta version. However, not wanting to lose all my game data for my Sky 2011 career, I've created a copy folder in the C:/Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager 2011 - Copy. Yet, when I go to do a race, all the jerseys, equipment and logos are gone!
Here's a screenshot of what I saw:
HHHHHEEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!!! |

Are you sure that the folder you copied contained the DB files? |

You mean the old or new db files? It has both the Official release and pcmdaily2012publicbetav3 databases. |

I'm not talking about the DB files, but about the files in Program Files/Cyanide/PCM. How did you create the copied folder? |

I installed the update to a different location, copied the original 2011 folder and pasted it as a copy. I then went through and took out each folder, replacing it with the 2012 equivalent. |

I didn't quite understand that explanation.
What you need to do is to make a copy of a clean PCM installation and install the 2012 DB to the copied folder. That should work just fine. |

Were is the Pre Beta 2012 download? The Update to Public Beta says:
"This package is an update which means that PCM.daily's 2012 DB Pre-Beta and Expansion Pack V1 are required."
The problem is that I can't find the Pre-Beta version. Also, is it the Expansion Pack V1 for 2011? Sorry for being a pain. |

I cut everything out of the copy folder and moved it elsewhere. I then re-installed the PCMpublicbeta version into this folder, with the same results as before. |

Don't cut and copy stuff - do as I say instead. Make a copy of the original, clean PCM-folder and install the PCM.daily DB to it. |

By clean installation do you mean the 2011 version? |

I've also copied the 2011 game to the copy folder and then installed the 2012 db into the copy folder but there is still no change. |

You've got to make sure that the DB is installed on the folder that the game is using (the folder which contains the correct name - Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011, unless your game is of another language). Your last post say you installed the 2012 DB to the copy folder - is that the folder being used by the game?
Btw, the Pre-Beta can be found here, but I'm not sure if there are still working links. If there aren't, just download the Full V1 rather than the Pre-Beta to V1 update.

How can I check if the copy folder is the one used by the game? |

If it's named accordingly.

It's in the folder: C:/Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011 - Copy |

So, the game isn't using this folder. There's a "copy" in it's name. You need to name it accordingly, like I said.

There is already another 2011 folder, but I don't want to lose that data. |

Then rename it to whatever which is not the correct name and name your copy folder to the correct name. And for the record, I don't think there would be much problem in installing the 2012 DB over the Expansion Pack - except for rider photos, almost nothing will be overwritten (team jerseys, stages, equipment, etc, will be kept as in the Exp Pack). And you won't lose your save file.
