Changing Custom jersey

I have noticed that when i look at program files/cyanide/ PCM 2011/3D/cyclists/cloth/team that it has all the team jerseys, custom jerseys for career mode, and then below that jerseys of sponsors not in the game (ex. cocacola, pepsi, etc.) My question is that is there anyway to make for example the pepsi jersey one of the jerseys that i can choose in career mode?

As far as I know, these jerseys belong to the sponsors. So if you sign Pepsi as a sponsor, you would wear their jersey.
But if you want to use it for your custom team, just copy it and rename it to C01 (or any of that other Cxx jerseys. Then you could select it at the start of your career when building a custom team.

When i get to a race none of the riders are wearing either jersey what did i do wrong?

How can we know what you did wrong? 
Check if the name and directory are right.. the jersey should already be in the correct format so that can't be the issue.

i renamed it but it still wont show up when i play a race in career mode. Can you tell me step by step how to do it to make sure that i didnt miss anything or do something wrong? thank you for your patience.

Did you rename the folder and all the files inside the folder C00?

i copied all of the files in x_pepsi and put them in the folder c00. then i deleted the files that were already in there and renamed the pepsi files to c00.

They are wearing a white jersey with a red lines going down the back.(like online if the host is using a database that you dont have so you cant see some jerseys)

Well this happens because the game doesn't find the jersey file (or it is in the wrong size, format, etc). Size or format can't really be the problem since you got the jersey from a sponsor, so if not a wrong name I don't know what else could be. The file name is c00_maillot, right?

Was i supposed to overwrite the files that were already in c00 or just copy pepsi_maillot and paste it in the c00 folder and delete the files that were already in c00?

Both ways should do the trick. As long as the originally pepsi maillot is in the c00 folder and named c00_maillot, it should work. It's quite strange, I don't know why it isn't working.

There is one thing I could imagine. Does your explorer show all file name extensions? If not, then turn it on, then check the file names one more time. |
