Well I would tell you but it is not being sold in the USA yet. Google the game there are some good you tube videos
I know... I keep hoping aroda will show up and say when or if it will release in the US... Otherwise I'll just have to bite the bullet and pay to import it. Kinda sucks... I was hoping to at least start it by the end of the Tour.
Hi npass43, we were hoping to have a PSN version for the US, sent it to SONY for approval more than a month ago, we still have no news
I know this sucks but August is going to be a very "low" month on our publisher (Focus) with lots of people on holidays, so I doubt they will put this as one of their top priorities.
Perhaps it would be better if you can buy it on any EU shop that send it over to you. Anyway, if I hear anything new about the PSN version I will let you know.
I just want to inform you that the patch for the PS3 game has finally been approved and put online. Since past midnight, owners of the PS3 can download the patch from PSN and take advantage of the following changes:
- Choice of rider on each section instead of each stage. That will permit more complex strategies and the possibility to play a Leader and a Sprinter on the same stage.
- New formula to calculate times for the Time-Trial of Grenoble. Now you will usually see good riders like T.Martin, Evans, Cancellara on top, with the eventual surprise that can always arrive, but less random than before.
- Force Feedback/Vibration (on Dualshock pads). Now you will have an additional feedback while playing, when you brake hard either in a curve or when you are in the peloton to avoid colliding with another rider, the pad will vibrate, the pad will also vibrate when you fall.
- New Helmet for Time-Trial and new equipment sets for certain teams.
- Several achievements have been made easier to unlock
- The provisional rankings are now correctly calculated at the beginning of each section and at 100, 50 and 25km to the finish line.
- Support for new DLC content that will be available in the next few weeks:
* New Tours (Criterium international coming soon)
* New feeding gameplay (possibility to eat different food to regain energy)
* Updated DB after the TDF
I hope you can enjoy all the changes made to the game.
Is it possible to download the DLC update now? When I open the game I can choose for 'Go to the PlayStation Store' by pressing the triangle key. When he opens it; there's nothing to download.
- Several achievements have been made easier to unlock
Would that mean there is no more 'Absolute Domination', which you could get by 'simply' "having your team win all the stages of the Tour de France and all 3 leader jerseys.

You can't remove achievements from a game as far as I'm aware so I'm really curious how this works out? I'm a completionist myself and Tour de France have some really challenging achievements and some of them even looked pretty much impossible so it'd be really interesting to hear something more detailed about what exactly has been changed.
Finally it have been release, i have been away since the 6 of july and just got home this friday, and thought Cyanide-Studio actually was just "Forgettng" the patch even they talk about making one, after my threads on cyanides forums (Actually i was the very first there came with some issue on the game ) So thought i was the only there played this game.
But a thing i dont like with this patch is the rider change, its a good thing, but again it only make me pick riders it "think" would be best for me. at the final 15 km on first stage, i could only pick brugshehin and Arrayo after the simulation, this make me afraid, later on the tour. Because i would go for a stage win with tondo. - But hey i won team time trial with movistar on 2. stage but tondo isnt sadly in yellow because brugshehin was first over the line. - But looking forward to the criterium updates.
And a side note, i looking forward to complete the last 30 % of the Trophies to. The hardest for me now is Win all stages and wear all jerseys ... i managed to get the "Son of the Cannibal" trophy with Evans with 15 Stage Wins though
There is no plan for any kind of additional content at the moment, other than the packages already created:
- Feeding gameplay
- Criterium Int
- DB TDF2011
I guess any future plans for DLC will depend on how well those elements work, but as far as I know, Focus has no other plans now that the cycling season is almost over.
Beside that, historic tours are only feasible in terms of route, we don't have any kind of licensing with old teams and since most of them (or all) doesnt exist anymore is difficult to get any kind of deal, so dont sweat too much for this option, i dont see it feasible in the near future.
Haven't the UCI or the ASO got the rights to the races and the teams that partipiciated there?
For example like at the Formula One historic seasons would be possible but very very expensive as the rights holder see $$ or the UEFA.. UEFA Euro 2000 the game had from every Euro semifinal the teams that partipiciated there in the respective years
Or would it be possible (not for this game but for another??) but also too expensive?
