Question, how to make your own rider? |

1.Open the offical editor
2.Load your DB
3.Go to the tab that says "riders"
4.Then you can see a button on the bottom-left(I think) that says "add new rider"or something like that
5.Then you make your stats and all that things
6.then you find a team to place him
7.If you want an own picture you'll need a picture that's TGA and 100x100 pixels.
8.Then save it to Cyanide->Pro Cycling Manager 2009->Gui->Cyclist Photo.
9.Then click the button under the black man, and find the TGA file.
10.To save the rider, click the button that says "make new rider" or "edit"
11.Save your DB and choose it in options(make sure to select the one that is there, because the DB that was there before is selected though it's not there)

I had never seen such a button in the offical editor. Could you make a screenshot pazflor, that would be very nice. I am interested to see this particular button. |

I'm on holiday to Denmark right now, so I don't have pcm installed on this computer
I didn't have with the computer, because it was reperation
I will try to take a screen at thursday or friday |

Can you please give me a link what should i download? Hannes Conventor crashes, Hannes Editor dont start and offical editor gives me error, that 1 file is missing.

I created my self, and followed the steps. But it didnt show up in game. Pcm 2010. I then tried to be simpler and alter a rider who is already in the game. Changed his name, and a couple stats. Saved it to my DB, and again it didnt show up in game.
Ill take a pic of the screen later, and post it. I think I must be clicking something wrong and/or saving it in the wrong spot.

Where are you looking if he has showed up? In a career, in single race?

Career, and I made sure both the created rider and the altered stats rider where BOTH on my team before I saved.

Are you sure you're editing the right file (savegame, located in My Docs/PCM12/Users/username/Database/Solo/DB you're playing with) and not the "normal" .cdb file?
And if you're trying to add a rider in a team in career, you probably won't manage to do it with the official editor. For example, you'll need to add a contract, which afaik is not possible in the official editor. You'll need one of the 'custom' editors, which can edit all the DB tables.
