I don't know if I'm missing something here but some of my riders have been given completely different upgrades to what I selected. From what I can see, Lavery, Dibben and Perrett at least have all been given the wrong upgrades.
I double checked using the PM I sent you and the Development file and I'm definitely right. As an example, I selected training plan 6 (cobbles) for Dibben and you've given him a sprint upgrade? Same with Lavery, Perrett and Christian by the looks of it. Most of my youngsters have been turned into sprinters, which wasn't really what I had in mind.
EDIT: I think I see what's happened. You've applied the suggested training plan to my riders but I really don't see why as I sent you a PM?

Okay then. Thank you. It's amazing how few mistakes you do make given the amount of uber complicated spreadsheets you produce on a weekly basis.

I'm defo with knockout on rider steals and transfers.
As for the new season, can't wait for it to begin. Hope there will come some more names in the future. Why Stromeon and Fiat Bianchi no more eg? Sad face
Stages: Yeah, put in some more, tougher cobble stages in ToNe. It was too little tbh. (Covered the race) Mostly it was just surviving hills and sealing the deal in the TT (Cance, Chavanel, Castroviejo!! all far up in the GC). I'd love to have a autumn cobble classic though too. Sprinters should have MSR with the normal route (Purito had his chance and blew it against PhilBear ). Paris-Tours in WT would be nice too for sprinters. In general I think though that sprinters had lots of chances in small stage races for stage wins, mucho balanced. In Grand Tours of course not so much.
Cut USAPCC like suggested or make it CT. Wasn't worth the hassle in the end.
Great idea with race organization. Lots of ICL is in fact imagination, you have to think about how the race evolved and such. However I'm not really that big on PCM stages so not sure...
Q) Will you use PCM13 further and when will there be a game change to PCM14 or PCM15 in coming seasons?

Yeah a seeing a lot of people leaving the game allthough they still are active on the site is kinda frustrating.
You don't need to be good on stages.
I will use PCM13 until I buy myself a newer game. I can't say when that's happening though.
On the steals, I kind of planned it the way knockout suggested.
On the stages:
I added all the suggestions to the second post, keep them coming.
@Silvio: If USAPCC is removed from the WT calendar, then we'd need another North/Central American race in WT, so someone suggest one.
@TMM,LLS: I don't really like the idea of a GT on CT level. Imo Colombia and Portugal are long enough. But if the majority wants one it's also added to post #2.
@ The Rider: Thanks for your suggestions. I really like those races. Imo they would also be nice in CT not only in the U23 tour.
@Cyclotron: I did some testing on La Descente Pavee before adding it to the calendar initially and usually a favourite won. THe actual race was the only time a break won, so we might want to give it another chance.
@Dippofix: Tour of Bishkek would be great.
@knockout: I planned to make the TTT world championships a WT event. Kittel won't need to race as much in the CT as he did this season.
@JoeArmstrong: Tour of Kenya is a good idea, I added it to post #2. I don't know how to add a Crit series to the calendar. I'm not sure how that should work.

I haven't said anything because it looks good from what I know (which is very little). For what it's worth I think the GT at continental level is unnecessary too. As for most people wanting USAPCC dropped, you could add the Quebec and Montreal GPs or even something like the Tour du Beauce in its place if you want. Whichever way, it looks good and I'll let people with more experience handle the organising.

Here's the profile for Tour of Bishkek, I can't submit it to the Stage DB yet though, for some reason:
Stage 1 (~120km):
Stage 2 (TT; ~6km):
Stage 3 (~100km):

As far as i'm aware the Stage DB is currently experiencing some issues. Just upload it to mediafire/dropbox/other service like everyone else does

Ah, I see. Just thought Stage DB would be a nice place to have it, but dropbox will have to do then.

ICL 15 - Transfers - Part 1 Steals
Download here: https://www.mediafire.com/?8192o4e762...4e762rdasr
We finally have the number of teams I hoped to get and so let's start now. The first part of the transfer season are the steals. You can offer riders, that rode for another team in the season before, a contract. The rider will sign for you if the offered wage is (a lot) higher than what his current team would pay him.
But the current team of a cyclist will always have the first chance to sign the cyclist for next season. In the time of renewals the rider will demand a wage close to the one offered by the other team. If you agree you block the tries of a steal, if you don't accept the rider will leave the team to the highest bidding other team. The wage the rider will demand will be 0% - 20% less then the highest offer for a steal. It also depends on the riders loyalty (=years in team), but as every rider is one year in the team that doesn't matter this time.
So now onto how the sheet works:
1 As always in the first table put your team ID in C1. You will find your team ID in "Budget". You will also find your budget for the season there. It depends on how you did in your focus races and in the rankings.
2 Go to DB look for riders you'd like to steal and put your offers in column AF.
3 Copy colums A-C in the table PM and pm it to me.
General rules:
1 You can only try a steal on a max of 5 riders.
2 You can try a steal on a max of 2 riders from one team.
3 You will notice when you offend one of those rules. AL1 will turn red and also in "PM" there will be a note.
Please keep your budget in mind. The stealing shouldn't be the main part of transfers it's only to give people a chance to sign a rider they think would be perfect for their team.
I'll give you 48 hours for this task. I don't expect a pm from anybody. So if I don't get anything I just assume you don't want to steal riders.

You are just incredible with all those calculations
Though I really don't like this steal thingy, I probably don't even wanna know how you calculated our budgets, right?
By the way, I hope your trust in people's fair play is not abused by anyone.

Against stealing from the start so there'll be nothing from me apart from a serious beatdown on anyone who does even attempt a steal.

I really don't agree with this stealing thing Mr Wenger. Leave the 16 year old French boys alone.
I will also hand out beatings to anyone who thinks about stealing my riders. Build your own teams, don't steal someone else's.

What about we all boycott the steals then? And whoever doesn't is "politely asked to take his offers back"?

Just to make this clear. A team has always the chance to prevent a rider from being stolen. So I don't see why you're so upset about that rule. Irl after the contract of a cyclist expires he also possibly signs for another team if the offer is good. |

I think the problem here is that there are a lot of new teams, so if you really need 1 specific rider, it would be good if you could have a chance to get them.

Oh and on this. Don't be worried trust is good, control is better. I control people's fair play. It's basically impossible to cheat. |
