4th in the GC isn't that bad, but I understand his frustration.
Who knows, he might've won this is people let him develop normal instead of upgrading DH & COB

EXP - Downhill / Form - Flat, Prologue
@Jesleyh: After the win on stage 2 it just went downhill. A rather frustrating and boring tour after that. But, in the long run it helps make the "scripting" a little bit easily and interesting for the story finale...
If you think you know where I'm going, you have no idea.

It's sad you dislike China
I guess it is down to the dystopian future in your story, but even so... |

Indeed I expected a bit more out of the race after he did so well on stage 2. But a stage win and 4th in GC is still very good.
However now I'm thinking. At first when the story end was announced I thought you'd already played all that needed to be played or something, but if you're still 'live', I wonder if nothing could happen that would spoil the end You're making me very curious for how it'll all end, and I do hope it's as great as you're making it sound like, because, at least speaking for me, you're setting the expectations quite high...

@The Hobbit: Sorry if that offended you, it's only part of the story. Travis was just frustrated. The race didn't go his way and it lasted 14 long days (counting the one rest day).
@lluuiiggii: How could it be pre-planned if I'm still giving out EXP and Form points? The races are all still "live" but the ending plot is finalized. I can adapt the plot slightly according to the race results.
@sutty68: Considering how many attacks Trav put in trying to get into the top 3 it really is a shame. Plus now his PCM form is dropping.

I find it hard to make something of this story. but that's a compliment.
I mean, at first, we were all for Travis.
Then he doped and I was like, damn... You damn American
Then he was whining so much about his wife, but the many pictures kind of made up for that.
And the thing that strikes me the most: Travis is a bit of a sucker
Don't get this wrong, it's a brilliant story, especially just because the main character is three dimensional.
I guess I'm curious where a bum like Travis will end his career |

@Ian Butler: Thanks Ian. I wanted to give you all a roller-coaster ride and it looks like I accomplished that. The only way I could achieve that was by making a character people could cheer for, be sad for, be angry at, have emotions towards. And I think that's what I'm most proud of.
I created a character that people have grown attached to.
Which you would know a lot about.
@All: I have a few episodes already pre-written in the final season but I don't want this to end super quick. But, there are races in between so that will spread things out. So, the question is... Do you want S16E1 now, or wait for tonight? First person to post yes or no will decide.

"What do you mean all flights back to the United States have been removed!?!"
"Sir, calm down. The French government has shutdown all flights to the USA."
"That's not fair at all, where I'm I suppose to go?"
"You need to make another connection somewhere else and then into the USA.
Starting last week, France is no longer complying with the United States
because war has been declared between the two countries.
Where have you been the past two weeks? Living under a rock?"
Yes, actually I have been... and now I'm stuck here in Paris, France
because my layover flight into Los Angeles has been cancelled.
All the possible connecting flights are also booked. Nothing is available
because the Tour de France finished today and everyone is heading home.
This is my worse nightmare. I want to go home too.
There is no place like home.

I was calling people, tweeting people, yelling at people in the airport...
No response. I've been sitting here for 6 hours now.
Seriously, how many times have I got screwed over when flying?
There is nothing I can do now, I've checked all the possible ways to get to LA
and the next available option is on July 30th which doesn't work because
my next race, Tour of Elk Grove, is taking place August 2-4 in Chicago.
I want to spend a little more time with my family then that,
especially since I've been gone for more than two weeks racing in China.
This is unbelievable, an entire week before a flight is available.
Just a few months ago this entire "going to war" thing was a big joke.
It all feels to real now as I sit and wait and wait and wait and wait.
And waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting.
Waitingwaitingwaitingwaitingwaitingwaitingwaitingwaitingwaitingwaitingwaiting.
"Hey, Travis... A little blue bird told me you were in need of a lift."
I looked up, I couldn't believe who was standing in front of me.
Spoiler
"Don't just sit there. Grab your bag, let's go.
I got a private jet taking Santander's TdF team back to Spain.
There is an extra seat with your name on it if you want it.
You should get out of France, you're not safe here."
Wow, I can't believe Fernando Alonso is doing this for me.
The last time I talked to him he was cussing me out for using PEDs.
The Tin Man had a change of heart.
The journey back home was going to take a pit-stop in Spain.

Gooooooo France
I know war is sad, but it's a fictional one.... Sooooo
Is it just France at war, or do they have allies?
Sorry, I have an obsession with imaginary political systems.
In the meanwhile, good on Fernando. |

@Shonak: S16 is going to bring in a lot of familiar faces to tie stuff together and make a memorable ending. So, those that have sticked with me for the long run should be able to connect the pieces but I'll continue to hyperlink stuff wherever I can to make it easier to follow.
@The Hobbit: Travis won't have much time to really dive into the whole back story of the war because he will be focusing on cycling, but that side of the story might get told eventually. I'm not sure yet.
@SSJ2Luigi: Only time will tell.
