Win: Clasico RCN [C2]
With the influx of teams from South America, we realize that this will be an hard-fought race. However, it is also a route that perfectly reflects our orientation. Aiming to acquire some of the best CT climbers, we hope to achieve our winning goal.
.
Top 5: Tour de Langkawi [C2HC]
Since stage races decided in mountain stages will be a main focus for the team, the Tour de Langkawi is only a logical goal. We aim to put our mark on the two long ascents and hopefully conquer one of the top places.
.
Top 5: Vuelta a la Comunidad de Madrid [C2HC]
A classic with a mountaineous profile. That is a pretty unique opportunity for us to shine on what's supposed to be our favorite terrain. Hence, we're gonna give our best to do well.
.
Top 5: Zuri Metzgete [C2HC]
To have at least one goal in our home region, we chose the hilly classic Zuri Metzgete. It shall also signify that, while still focussed on the high mountains, we don't want to become a completely one-dimensional team. And lastly it is always nice to end the C2 calendar on a high note.
.
Top 10: Continental Tour Team Standings
And then there's the ranking goal. Since the other goals are relatively ambitious, we're hoping for a decent budget, and without being limited to a certain region, it should be possible to assemble a strong team to reach the Top 10.

Interesting name for a team and a "story" behind it. I suppose you will try to specialize on mountain goats?
Good luck in 2014 CT!

One of the most impressive applications I've seen, I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of your management skills measure up!
Good luck!

A new German team...
Nah, just kidding Good luck, as rjc said you had a kickass application so we got big expectations now :-p
Hopefully we could cooperate when transfers begin, if I sign level 1 talents a German team would be a nice place for them to develop, and I'm always willing to help max out riders

Thanks guys, glad you like the concept. We'll see how that's gonna work out
@ rjc: Nice to see that you liked the application. Rest assured that I'll be putting even more efforts in the things to come, so hopefully I can match the expectations
@ fintas & Heine: Competition is good for business, guys But don't worry, I may have a regional focus, but it's not that distinct. And I'm always open for cooperations and happy to develop some nice talent
Meanwhile, our jersey request has been accepted by one the best in the business, we're looking forward to present it soonish! |

Interesting goals.
A lot of mountain there, and no surprise to see that Nerz is on your shortlist! |

I wish it was that easy!
Well, let's put it that way: the chances for you getting your favourite rider in the long term might be higher if I get my favourite rider in the short term...
But still, I hope you understand he's a great source of points in PCT and I happened to start liking him a lot because of you as well
On the other hand, Schwab will most certainly be available and I'd love to start a good cooperation with your team over the next seasons with such a transfer.
Nevertheless, he was highly sought after by some other teams recently, so while I might be able to be a bit more generous, I cannot exclude the possibility to choose another offer in the end.
But we'll certainly stay in touch regarding loans and Free Agent bidding.

I'm sure we can build a nice cooperation, and I appreciate the notion that you might be willing to go out of your way with one rider or another. As I indicated, I'm definetely prepared to stretch the budget if it would be possible to get one of those, especially Nerz or Schwab, so maybe we can come to an agreement after all
But even if not, I'm sure we'll meet again for loan deals or so, as you said. I'm looking forward to it!

Maloja Mountain Nomads confirm C2HC races
Earlier today, the teams for the four C2HC Bands have been announced. The Maloja Mountain Nomads are happy to report that their favorite three choices have been granted. We can therefore present the first part of our 2014 racing calendar:
Band 2 suits us very well, containing two mountaneous and a hilly stage race. While none of these are specific team goals, we certainly hope to get a few nice results.
With three of our for goal races, this band will decide the fate of our team. The Tour de Langkawi and the classic in Madrid both suit our climbing-orientated philosophy, while the Tour d'Algerie and our third target race in Switzerland are going to be tough.
Having only one real mountain stage, a lot of flat and even some cobbles, the races of Band 4 aren't those that we look forward to the most. But hey, let's make the most of it!
The Maloja Mountain Nomads are thrilled about these first confirmed race dates and continue to look forward to the next steps!
Calendar in Post #3 has been updated accordingly
