Frequently Asked Questions
Please read this through before asking a question.
Riders are floating and aren't using any equipment.
This means that the equipment isn't in the right folders, and thus you've probably not installed the Real Name DB correctly.
Install again and make sure that the Real Name DB is installed in the folder where your Pro Cycling Manager is installed.
In Steam, that's probably something like C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2013.
In other versions, it's C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season/Seizonen/Saison or something like that 2013
There's purple flags or purple icons in the equipment selection screen.
This means that the game isn't using the Local.cdb file that's compatible with the PCM.daily DB.
Open up the folder where Pro Cycling Manager is installed and find the folder called PCM.daily DB Backup. Inside it, there's a Local.cdb. Copy it to My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 2012. Replace the existing file.
If you use Steam, you need to copy the Local.cdb to the Database folder of your installation - e.g. C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2013\Database
All the equipment is marked as bought and has equal stats/number of stars
Again, that's intentional. Teams don't buy equipment IRL, so there's no reason for them to do so in the game.
I can't pick the lowest brands of equipment.
You can, but not in the Career Equipment Menu. In the menu before a race, everything can be picked.

Got a question on the new database.
I saw you added a lot of new teams (continental) and riders. However the number of races (1.2 and 2.2 in particular) in the game is not increased. Is the game still in balance this way?
Or is this something we don't know yet and are you waiting for someone to play a career with a continental team and perticipate in all X.2 races? |

This DB is not really meant to play long term careers.
Therefore the game is still too bugged as well.
When more official patches make careers better playable, there will also be a new version of the PCM Daily DB, which contains more races/variants etc.
Then the balance should be better.

Hi guys I downloaded the real name database and followed the instal instructions but when I try change the DB in options no other one is showing, the folder showing in the pro cycling manger folder is pcm.daily DB back up s this correct?
any help would be great. |

Hi guys, great work and i appreciate the work you do each year...
i read that this, is not a long term database. but i still have a question/correction, and i don´t now if its worth mentioning or to minor, or if i am just uninformed. But here it is..
The contracts at Team Sky have been changed from the database i first played(ITA - dont know if they have changed anything) and the PCM-Daily database.. For instance, i heard somewhere(think on the Giro broadcasting) that Uran and Henao was looking else were? in this version they are both with longer contacts.

In all four databases, some National ITT Championships are just normal stages. For example the Swiss ITT Championship has three mountainsprints.
ALso the Russian and Ukrainian ITT Championship have this kind of problems.
Am I the only one having trouble with this?

1. The BMC and Team Belkin jerseys are not showing in my game.
2. When i am playing the wheels are invisble.
My Pc Have a processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30 GHz
Can someone help me with waht graphic i should put the game on to make this work plz. |

Doesn't sound like a graphics issue, sounds more like the install wasn't correct. Make sure the install is applied to the correct folder.

i have a problem, almost all sprinters have changed speciality, for exemple, Greipel is now a flandriennes rider

Not sure if I understood it all, but well, if the DB doesn't appear in options, you could try copying the backup .cdb, which is located in the installation folder/PCM.daily DB Backup and then pasting it to My Documents/PCM13/Mod/Database.

Ups, this is quite a big bug. Apparently I mistyped some stage file names  
Extract the attached file to Main PCM folder/CM_Stages, replace the old ones and it should work fine
