Hello,
I got some problem with the riders progression. I just finished my first season with a custom continental team with mainly young players but after whole season noone of the riders made any progress – all attributes stay the same as on the very beginning.
I checked in the editor if they had enough training and realized that some of the riders got in the capital_f_attribute value of 350-400 but do not progress. The value of gene_i_year_progression is various from 1 to 5. In gene_i_day_progression are various values as well, but I checked a concrete player with this value of 4 days, after 5 days it just changed to 35 and no progress happened. The value of capital_f_attribute just still increases even though it is more than 230.
Any ideas what can I do? |

Are your trainers any good?
Have you assigned the rides to a fitting training program (where they actually CAN progress?)
(I play PCM11, so my answer is assuming nothing has dramatically changed)

Yes, I engaged very good trainer (9 for stage races) and the rider is training exactly the stage races. |

Well, then I agree he should be progressing.
One last shot: How many riders are assigned to that trainer? To many riders will lower his efficency

What is your development of attributes set to? You chose this at the start of your career (0-1) |

The trainer got just 3 or 4 players with highest potential so they should go up. Can it be just because of the age of the riders who got between 18-20 years? The value gene_i_year_progression 5 does not mean that the progress will start in the fifth year but the progression should be fast, is that right? |

Well, not sure about it. I would say 1, but really not sure. Where I can find it in the editor? |

In some cases (if the development is set to 0) there is no progress possible? |

This has to be a bug.
In-game settings like development factor, trainers, specialization or such only affect the corresponding values in the savegame like capital_f_attribute.

Well, at the beginning of the season I edited some things (as sponsor goals) in the Lachis Editor, but not the actual version. However it shouldn't influence the game, right? |

What you do mean with "but not the actual version"?
If you edit the wrong stuff, then you can mess up your career. |

I mean not the latest version as the V10 was not yet available. I made these changes to the career during August when the Editor was not optimalized for PCM2012. You think that could be the problem?

I cannot guarantee that there is or was no error in my tool.
I have heard from other people that the development setting is 0 in the save.
But I don't know if it is because of my tool or because the game saves it differently.
Maybe somebody wants to try it on a new career:
- Start career
- Set development to 7
- Simulate 1 day
- Close game
- Open save with the full editor
- Open save with my editor
- Open save with my excel editor
- compare the value in DYN_manager |

Ok, when I will be back to my computer, I will try (probably on Monday). The important value is that one under coeff_f_carac_evolution?
That's right that value is 0... |

Yes, you have to check that value. |

A bit off topic, but since you ask... there's a "recovery" training camp in Tenerife, in case you haven't noticed

Sorry but where can I find the development? I tried to start a new game and then having opened the save in both versions of your editor the evolution was set to 0, but I did not set development at the beginning... |
