Hi!
Through lachis editor I have extended sponsor contracts. But I am still not able to write contracts with new cyclists. "you don´t have a sponsor for the coming season" it says when I offer a contract.
I have changed the sponsors contract until 2014 (I am in season 2013) in lachis editor: DYN_sponsor/contract year end2014
Can anybody tell me what to do to be able to write new contracts? |

Maybe you need to add a number in value_sponsor_future in DYN_teams, just a guess though.

Yes, you have to put something there, but I could not find out what exactly.
It seems to be a mix of the future sponsor and the amount they will pay. |

I have the same problem, although this is in my first season. I tried to change the value_sponsor_future, didn't change anything

I can´t even find the DYN_TEAMS and therefore not the value_sponsor_future.
Hate the sponsor bug of PCM 2011. they better change it next year or remove it. what should I (and dizzle) do? |

If you're using the Fast Editor, name will only be team.
About the overall problem, what you could do is look for a team of about your level and copy their value_sponsor_future. Maybe it could be good to adjust the sponsor contract for the same year as them though (I don't know but there could be some number concerning contract length in that column).

I got it working...
What I did was I changed the value_sponsor_future and the value_sponsor_future2 to match what was in the dyn_sponsor.

That would be the number in dyn_sponsor, I just copied it and it worked like a charm.

Then it's pretty simple. You just need to put '2020' in gene_i_contract_end in DYN_sponsor. However keep in mind that the teams will have the same budget until 2020, meaning that there won't be much differences (at least regarding the big teams); today's biggest teams will still be big (or at least have a budget to do so) in 2020 and from the ones you change, the smaller ones will keep small, etc. Unless you change their budget manually.
The other way would be to edit the sponsor as you proceed in your career - when the team signs a new sponsor, you either change name/jersey of the new sponsor (replace the sponsors) or you change the team sponsor, which can be more complex (because of the quite 'unkown' column of future_value).

That would be the number in dyn_sponsor, I just copied it and it worked like a charm. Do you mean the first column in DYN_sponsor (IDsponsor)? |
