Really cant complain about this. Oliveira proving his worth as a leader in his first race for us is lovely to see.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

del Toro sneaking inside the top 100 isn't something I hope we will have to remember as a season highlight when the season comes to an end Pfft

What a thriller that was for the GC win and podium! The top 6 within 20 seconds speaks for itself. Congratulations to the winners, but also to quadsas for a strong 4th place in the GC by Kmieliauskas.

Sorry, missed when the season was going to start.

Thanks for the wonderful preview, and the awesome reports!

Dunbar did well enough on s2, a shame to lose a little bit of time to Evenpoel et al., and Mullen + VM losing time isn't great but oh well.

Great ride from Dunbar on s3! Stoked with 2nd in GC behind TW. Great rides from Mullen, VM and A.Firdaus as well 4 in the top 25 in GC is a great result. Surprised to lose out on the team class. though considering the depth. All in all, a good season opener and great all-round result from the team. Thank you again for the reports, and congrats to WJ on the win!

Kämna had a pretty good time trial which gives hope for the races to come. Though obviously the hill stage didn't work out well for a better GC. It was a bonus race for us but still had hoped for couple more points.

That said, Hessmann, while having a weaker TT still gives some depth points, in especially coming 2nd in the youth ranking while also since more riders follow in the depth area.

So January surely will see us pretty far at the bottom of the table but this had to be expected anyway with those kind of races.

Thanks for the reports and congrats to the win... Again Wirtgen, though closer than you might have thought...a pity he isn't riding in my colours. Pfft

For me this race was all about what Philipsen could do on the opening stage as I geared the race squad around him. Given the not too packed start list a podium was the expectation. Using Rajovic as a lead out rider for the first time I was never going to take too much from a single stage sample, but seeing it work is certainly way better than the alternative Pfft

The expectation for the whole race was Philipsen scoring a bit and then everyone else just mopping up finishing points. Adding a 25th and 37th in GC and the green jersey points means we scored way above expectations. Probably our best start to a PT season to date Grin

Congrats to WJ for a huge scoring race and thank you to Sean for the preview and Imladrik for the nice reports Smile

quadsas
That should classify as 'good enough' race, Nys with big time depth points, and 4th is probably highest Kmieliauskas could've finished, not bad

Soderqvist animated the race with some breakaway action and a day in the polka-dots, which is more than we could have hoped for. Thank you for the great reports, Imladrik, and congratulations to wj!
