Not feeling great going forward, as our team ended up being pretty cobbles heavy with Powless crashing out and Van Aert looking done after Roubaix (though a lot of his teammates are going to the Ardennes). What a great Paris-Roubaix that was! Wout van Aert won for himself, the Barnacles and all of Belgium, still it was great scoring from the Racoons that made them stand out. But good scoring all together, with half of the teams scoring 160 or more here.
The Ronde van Limburg saw another impressive win for Merlier. Bauhaus added more points for the Inspectors, while the Ice Tulips sprinters also scored well.
No one got the winner in Brabantse Pijl, but the Hussars are back to the big points after a really long period of low scoring. They might be the team to watch in the Ardennes now.
The Racoons sealed the deal in the Classic Grand Besançon. What an excellent pick in Jegat, winning them the race and the block. The Chumps were the only other team to score points here.
For the rankings, the Barnacles have a 100 points gap left. But both the manager and I have doubts if this team can keep scoring in the Ardennes. The Racoons seem to have the better team and could win this game for the second time. In third are the Inspectors, but Pogacar is only riding Liege. I think the game will be decided in Block 10 with everything so close.
Next up are 3 teams who could have been a contender, but lost a lot on injuries. The Overlords (Benoot, Del Toro and Barré) don't have a lot left of their big Ardennes squad. The Hornets still have Van Gils injured and Wellens just got back. Also Jorgenson foreshadowing. The Croissants miss out on a lot of points with Pidcock's injury.
The Hussars climb to 7th again, but the gap is really big, even with their big Ardennes team. The Chumps are also struggling again as are the Sliders in 9th. The Rainbow Warriors closed the gap thanks to a good Roubaix and can start dreaming of more.
At the bottom, both the Ice Tulips and the D had ok blocks, but just ok won't cut it at this point.

Interesting Ardennes so far, Schmid and Cosnefroy keep the Barnacles and Overlords in the fight for now. A Pogacar-Seixas double would probably result in an automatic win for the Inspectors though.

Rankings update 9
We started of in Limburg for the Amstel Gold Race. Evenepoel won it for the Sliders, but is was once again the Hussars scoring the most here with Skjelmose and Gregoire. Supertalent Seixas grabbed the Fleche Wallonne on wednesday, raise your hard with me if you should have drafted him in round one.
But the big man returned on sunday to win it. Tadej Pogacar will finish the season with 1110 points, only not winning in Roubaix. Somehow that's less than last year, as he did more races in 2025. Seixas got 2nd and is the best scorer in this block. A big 1-2 for the Inspectors here. Evenepoel got 3rd, but numbers 4-6 Verstrynge, Bernal and Bilbao all went undrafted. This makes the Inspectors point gain even worse for the competition.
For the penultimate rankings, the inspectors take the lead with a massive 710 points this block, 530 from Liege alone. Can we call them the winners yet? Not entirely sure! The gap is less than 300 points and the chasing teams might have better riders for the last block. It's incredibly close as well though, only 6 points between the Barnacles and the Racoons.
The Overlords are 4th, but have no realistic chance to make the podium. They need to look behind them as the Hornets are still a threat and the Hussars are back in it as well, after a very strong Ardennes campaign.
The Croissants drop to 7th after Pidcock not showing up in the Ardennes. The Sliders climb to 8th thanks to Evenepoel, while the Chumps did what they needed to do to secure a top 10 spot.
The Rainbow Warriors missed the deadline and see the Ice Tulips get closer in the fight for the final top 10 spot. The D are still gaining ground but we're kinda out of races now.

5th (and probably 6th after the last block) despite MvdP is a disgrace, I must say All these injuries (Van Gils, Wellens, Jorgenson, etc.) didn't help but should have done much better with my picks.

Before I post my block 10 picks I have a question for all - would you be interested in a similar fantasy game for the Giro d'Italia? If there's enough interest, we can make a trial run and if it is successful we can do the same for the Tour de France and Vuelta a España.
