As is traditional, it's new rider suggestions time! The goal for this year is again to add a talent from every focus region/nation, and in this thread you can suggest new riders and/or adjustments to the stats of riders already in the DB. Some things to keep in mind:
General Information
We're aiming for the addition of around 100 "signable" talents this year, so do focus your suggestions on the most important talents for you/your region. That doesn't mean every rider added will be a leader, but this group will include riders who will at the very least be useful domestiques when maxed. Suggestions are particularly helpful for smaller nations, or for riders who wouldn't otherwise be spotted - big names like Magnier, Morgado, Tarling, Christen etc will of course be included even if not suggested here.
Provided time allows, we (knockout and I) are also hoping to add some weaker talents as part of a gradual reworking of the FA pool. These talents are intended for those wishing for stronger national focuses, and potentially the new Development teams. Exact numbers are not confirmed, but any suggestions not used in the pool of "signable" talents may instead be included in a weaker form in this group. We are mindful of not adding too many, nor devaluing current riders in the DB, so some limits will still apply.
Talents
2004 is the main year of interest for additions, though 'forgotten' talents from previous years may also be added to the DB.
Riders from 2005 could be added too in some individual cases, though the general preference is to avoid this. These are most likely to be considered when no other options are available for a nation/region. However, if they are included they will be limited to progressing only to Level 2 in the 2026 season.
Older Riders
Free agents - or less commonly riders from disbanding teams - can have their stats adjusted. However, this is more likely to be considered for riders who were added in recent years, as they can become non-Level 1 talents. We won't generally consider this as an option for declining (or near-declining) riders, though in special cases an exception may be made.
Stat Limits
You can suggest riders with any level of stats you like, however this will primarily be used for identifying rider types rather than influencing how strong their stats will be - which will be influenced in part by national/regional balance. It is highly unlikely we will add anyone above 81 in a main stat, and we will of course add more riders with lower main stats than high ones.
Realism
MG doesn't need to be 100% realistic when it comes to the stats of riders. Real life results are a useful indicator, and riders will generally tend to be aligned to that, but they are not a constraint.
This also extends to rider nationalities - we will try to add riders from a variety of nations if we can, and as mentioned before, at least one rider from every primary and/or secondary teams nationality will be included among the talents.
Format
The format hasn't changed much from the previous years as seen in the table below. If you suggest specific stats it is preferred to include versions of the rider at 1.00 and 4.100, but not essential. Remember also that the new stat gain choices will apply, which can be found here: https://pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/F...6%20v2.xls

It is also possible to suggest riders without stats, with just a short description of their strengths and general potential instead. Links to ProCyclingStats, First Cycling or other results sites are useful too for providing context.
Thanks to Nemo, Ezee, and all the others who have contributed to this thread before for the large parts I have borrowed! |

French biathlete Emilien Jacquelin (who was part of the French winning relay at the Olympics) just announced that he will be joining Decathlon's development team for the next 6 months.
So maybe it will be a fun idea to add him in the game. Not really know what kind of cyclist he could be, but the guys better at making stats might have a better idea where to put him or where there's maybe a need to add someone who would decline in two years anyway.

With Trofimov being a distant memory and Skujins on his third stat decrease, we are very very very happy that Roman Ermakov was born in 2004! Hilly (Belgium/Italy) Classics and one week stage races seems to be his thing, Bahrain - Victorious put all of their future trust in him for a reason, already has a Grand Tour (Vuelta) and three monuments under his belt (Milano/Ronde/Liège) and also winner of GP Kranj and Ruota d'Oro.

As I see released riders might get "dumped", I would like to help with stat redistribution of Greek/Cypriot riders hit by this. Some of the riders currently in other teams were high on my priority list, but was never entered with stats that was worth targetting. So if riders like Koutounis, Pavlides or Drakos is going to be released I would prefer to get them with better stats before adding better new riders.
I am going to suggest a solid Cypriot domestiqe whom I was also suggesting last season. Unfortunately no Cypriot talents was added. He's nothing extraordinary, but could replace Agrotis on the long term as one of the best cypriot riders.
| Last Name | First Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SPR | ACC | FIG | DH | PRL | NAT | CON | POT | | Ioannou | Constantinos | 69 | 68 | 69 | 68 | 68 | 68 | 69 | 60 | 63 | 71 | 70 | 72 | 69 | CYP | EU | 4 |
My preferred dev-path:
| Last Name | First Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SPR | ACC | FIG | DH | PRL | NAT | CON | POT | | Ioannou | Constantinos | 70 | 75 | 74 | 75 | 73 | 73 | 76 | 60 | 63 | 72 | 71 | 72 | 75 | CYP | EU | 4 |
Other than that I would really love to see a useful puncheur added - someone who can actually be trained (heavily) into a good ardennes riders. Those have always be lacklustre in Greece/Cyprus. The best ever being Aimiliano Vila (Bad backups) or Soulious (Too old to train). So something that will mix up those stats would be very welcome, so we can hopefully - over many years of training - finally get a Greek rider that can actually get top 10s in the ardennes.
An alternative could be someone who can replace Bouglas/Koumpetsos as a solid leadout rider, that can be a low level lead sprinter in a bit more bumpy stages.

Nicolas Gojkovic. Born in 2004.
In 2024 he won the seniors national TT championship and finished second in the RR.
In 2025 he won the RR, and finished 7th in a sprint stage in CRO Race.
https://www.procy...s-gojkovic
According to his results, I would have him down as primarily a sprinter but he seems to TT decently as well.

My guess is that whoever did the cleanup for the season DB before the season thought cam would be cameroon and edited it to CMR. Not sure if you have any files where this needs fixing?
Spoiler Wasnt sure where to put this info. figured this thread would be as good as any

You Li, on the Astana development team, looks to be one of the next Chinese riders to make the WT stage. Looks like a Fabian type, which is also much needed for the Chinese crop! https://www.procy...der/you-li
A bit of a weaker crop of Chinese riders this year, but another one could be Cang Yang, with Li Ning Star CT team, looks to be a climber sort.

Thanks jph and team!

Mathieu Kockelmann, Luxembourgian puncheur (who can TT some) looking at his results. 31.01.2004 born, racing for Lotto-Groupe Wanty IRL
Last season he won stage in Avenir (hilly), Tour of Luxembourg (hilly) and in Ronde van Vlaams-Brabant. This season he has been 7th in Étoile de Bessèges while winning stage 2 (hilly)

https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider...kockelmann
Should most likely get added as one of the better puncheur talents, would fit well with Luxembourgian history in the game as well

Don't know if these looks realistic just felt he looked like a good rider to follow the Luxembourgian traditions of the game with several luxembourgians declining. Can be trained into a great rider, but would need investment
Thibaud Gruel (born 1 May 2004) is a French cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Groupama–FDJ United.

Most likely other knows more about him than me. First Cycling (and his PCM stats) see him as a one day racer with hills and cobbles and could be made into an interesting rider here. Might be other who know more that got some opinions but I will try to make a suggestion

A rider who can become both a cobble and a hilly specialist (or a combo). Could be trained into a great rider, but would need investment no matter the path. Still see him as a rider you can make into a lot of interesting scenarios.
Paul Magnier (born 14 April 2004) is a French cyclist, who currently[when?] rides for UCI WorldTeam Soudal–Quick-Step. Another great french talent, won his first race for QuikStep!

A more sprinter with some cobbles and hills if looking at results and firstcycling stats. My suggestion would be to make him quite good with a lower potential, but making him capable of becoming both a sprinter and a cobble rider, while having some hills (so some poeple might want to make him an allrounder)

My stats here are ofc just suggestions based on me reading up on them With a goal to make them both usefull, intruging and with different choices for how to develop them and make them good PT riders with future training while not being world beaters from development day 1.

Would like a cobbles rider from Tanzania and a prologue specialist from Kenya. I put some examples below, but of course you can adjust in whatever way is best for the game.

Another French talent, lots of good results in national races, but also good results in European and World youth champtionship. 4th in Tour La Provence KOM, 2nd in Anmasse Classic, 6th in GP la Marseillaise and part of the winning squad in Circuit des Plages Vendéennes TTT. I see him as a good rider to make a stage racer on the level below the absolute top but still a good rider

Wouldn't Track-Sprint be a better option on the first one? Making him 78 Sprint, 78 Acc and 78 Prl? So you give away some usefullness in TTT and 2 prl to get a sprinter with a great prl. Not that I dosen't like the rider type would just like the point out that I would do that, and then consider training him into a great sprinter/prl specialist

Looking again, I guess I would do the same. I was just thinking of a love child from Schomber and Chavanne, but that's probably not easy to achieve with a level 1 rider.

Luca Scarponi First Cycling Pro Cycling Stats
A.K.A. My Goat, how often is it I find a legit age appropriate Sammarinese rider? Let alone one who was teammates with Isaac Del Toro in 2023.
Honestly not sure what stats to suggest, but as they are actually Samamrinese I'd prefer them to be the best Sammarinese addition ahead of nationality swapped riders.
And I would love to have some weaker Sammarinese talents get added. Would help to transition to 100% Sammarinese which I currently don't have enough names in the DB to do even if I could beat Adler to all of them.

Another one from me Might be a theme in nationality. I just have to say I havent really watched this riders live, so basing it off what I find online and making sure talents that would fit me gets added
Noa Isidore (born 17 September 2004) is a French road cyclist, who rides for UCI WorldTeam Decathlon CMA CGM Team.

Looking at is results with a win in Istrian Spring Trophy, 2nd place on a stage in Volta a Catalunya, win in Tour d'Eure-et-Loir, 9th in Tour of Britain and many good results in other races he is a strong talent with many skills. Also several good results in U23 cobble classics.
Looking at FirstCycling and ProCyclingStats he looks to me like a rider with a bit of everything except pure climbing and TT.

Tried a bit different with this guy, thought of a hilly sprinter and wanted to make a rider who can become a sprinter with hill, or a puncheur with sprint. Found the best way to do it was to make a low potential with kinda high starting stats. Then whoever gets him can decide what direction they want to go (or combinations)
All riders I have suggested I guess already is on the list to be added, but you can never be sure

Lets do a French climber who was not on the list last year, born in 2003
Sam Maisonobe (born 8 September 2003) is a French professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Cofidis.

3rd in Tour de Gaudalope (and 2 stages), 2nd in Circuit du Mene, stage win in Isard, 8th in Japan Cup shows he has some good results in real life. Both FirstCycling and ProCyclingstats has him as a climber/GC rider and even though he has a stage win from a TTT I would suggest him more as a pure climber. Also as he is 2003 born I would suggest making him level 2 and a bit more developed. I imagine him kinda like a stereotypical colombian climber who wont TT and who it could be cool to develop with climberv2 for stamina. The problem is just that I cant find a starting point where V2 is better than others at level 2 :/
Again I have not done anything with the new stat gains

Might be too strong (maybe I'm in general suggesting too strong) but I pictured a strong climber with stamina, made for attacking for KoM thus hight fighting and downhill. 79 Mon might be too strong but I kinda saw him as a rider where you never really will be able to prioritize training as there will always be someone you wanna train before him.
I still see Climberv1 maybe as a better development, even though I would find it fun to try a high stamina climber like that. Hope we can get a rider like this added, maybe even increase stamina/Resistance and lower Moutain a bit. Say 2 lower Mountain and 2 higher Stamina, making him a 77/83 Mon/Sta or something interesting like that
Clément Izquierdo (born 16 February 2002) is a French professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Cofidis.

Former youth jersey winner in Étoile de Bessèges who finished 8th overall there this year, stage winner in Wallonie and Mirabelle and several other races. 2 years "over age" for a talent and I suggest adding him as level 3. I also envision him more as a CT puncheur / support hilly rider

In general a puncheur without sprinting who can join breakaways and be a good rider in CT races or as a good supportrider / breakaway rider in higher divisions

I have nothing to add that this moment other than the fact that the thread is pretty much unbrowsable because of formatting issues.

I've edited the posts in question now to put the source of the issues in a spoiler, which should hopefully help. Can be avoided going forward by using the format in the first post in the thread |
