Kone-Nordea is a Finnish cycling project that came to light in 2025, thanks to the Finnish companies Kone and Nordea, which will be the team’s two main sponsors. The management of these companies recognized and supported the plans and ambitions of the team’s founders. As a result, the team will join the ranks of those competing in the Continental division for the 25/26 season. The team’s ambitions are to eventually become part of the top-tier divisions, but the first year will primarily be used to gain knowledge, experience, and build a solid reputation. The idea is for the riders to come from Nordic and Baltic countries, with the goal of elevating Finnish cycling to a higher level.
We also owe great thanks to the Man-Game management for placing their trust in us and including us in the very elite of world cycling. Although there were some who believed we had declared ourselves part of this organization outside the rules and procedures, we must firmly deny that — everything was done in full accordance with the rules and standards, we were simply so excited that we announced it a bit earlier than planned.

Welcome, and please do not worry about this! I'm sure everyone is thrilled to have a new manager so eager to get started.

A big welcome to the game. Pretty good start already with a nice intro and a new jersey design, which looks really good.
Also nice to see a finnish team in the pool of pretty stacked nordical/baltic countries. I'm sure you guys will have some fun in the combined development collaboration, and rivalry among the better riders.

This is the first time we have a Finland-based team since the Atlantius' Valio days. Hopefully we'll see another long-term Finnish cycling project in the MGUCI family

Only technically I'd say. Polar is not region focused whatsoever. Doesn't have a single Scandinavian iirc.
