[C1] 1 Jour de Dunkerque
Welcome to the 7th edition of the 1 Jour de Dunkerque (and the 17th edition including its former format).
The route and the profile of the race didn’t change much over the years as a classic. It mainly consists of a circuit with two climbs: a non-cobbled one and a cobbled one which also leads to the uphill finish. This circuit will be ridden 9.5 times in the final 120 km.
The race has been a 5-day stage race before it was changed to a one day classic for the 2018 season. The only rider who won here twice is Pieter Vanspeybrouck. But four of the last five winners are here this year: David, Benoot, Stallaert and Van Keirsbulck are all eager to join the Belgian.
Previous winners:

Cobblers:
We have the best cobblers of both the PCT and the CT in this race. Will Zepuntke finally live up to his pre-season hype? Will Kasperkiewicz add another win to his tally for this season? Will Stallaert get his last hooray? Or does Benoot have the perfect skillset for this race?

Not Gamper's best profile here, maybe a top 5 can happen.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Benoot wasn't here last season but he's back to try to repeat his success from two years ago. The full cobbles support is here, so let's hope it can translate into a good result.
Thanks for the preview kb

Here's hoping that GVK has given Kaspa all the race winning tactics, thanks for a great preview!

What a great win! Debesay really showing that he still got some gas left in the tank.
Thanks for the report!

Was a very poor strategy to be sending Benoot as the long range attacker. He showed he was strong enough on the day as he stuck with the front group for some time till he couldn't at the vital moment. Was expecting a much better return from this race.
Congrats to Blasing and thanks for the report kb
