TTT was as per expectations. Choi is in a decent position GC wise. Tim has been great in this race so far.

Congrats to the winners and thanks for the reports Smile

Prasad again Shock Shock

Sensational stuff, and surely the green jersey must have helped him greatly, both positioning wise on the climbs and to have energy left for the sprint. Was greatly surprised to see him up front when it mattered, and then to have energy left, was an even bigger surprise.

2nd place and bonus points regarding the green jersey is a massive result for us on that stage, as he now looks set to keep the jersey for some days.

A bit worried we didn’t send anyone in the breakaway, as I doubt the team had that much faith in Prasad for the finish. At least I didn’t Pfft And thus, I hope it is not the “normal” for this race, as those stages look fine to get in the breakaway in. Especially seeing how Puma raced, if similar racing continues, there will be lots of opportunities for breakaways and late attackers not being GC favourites. Really thought this stage belonged to Formolo and Aranburu. Must surely be worrying for cio to see how that unfolded!

Thijssen surprisingly strong on such a stage for a very respectable 5th! Wellens also in the Top 15 so staying at the pointy end where he needs to be.

I like what I'm seeing from my team so far here! Smile

Given Aranburu has bee constantly near the front and even attacked several times, I would have hoped for a little more from this first week results wise. Another 7th is fine I guess, but a few spots below where I'd like to be. It doesn't feel like these stages tend to go to sprinters or GC guys in GT's at the point, depending on the severity. Puncheurs take the back seat.

At least Quintana was kind of attentive today, more so than he has been. Maybe he's shaping into form as the mountain get started.

No riders top 100, hoping we were saving energy for new breakaway tries Pfft

Speaking of which, happy to see Kamp be involved and be off the front. Due to the size, it always looked difficult to succeed, but they gave it a good try. Can't ask for more.

Congratulations on another stage win, cio! Herklotz doing Herklotz things, and the GC gap is growing on innocent looking stages.

Called it, but TGH staying 3rd in GC is still something and perhaps he can stay there if the next two stages are not selective. Not surprises with Herklotz winning.

The team working really hard so far. It wasn't time on the road or a stage win, but it's good to see Formolo getting some bonus seconds after all that effort from his team - mates. Not sure if it's worth killing Van Poppel for them though. There are plenty of stages left where his skill are needed.

Herklotz killing it so far, have to say Morton has found these wall finishes a little more difficult than I expected with poor positioning and well lack of punch. We sit in 5th which is a little disappointing but there will be opportunities soon to move up into the podium spots before the AI completely breaks down in the last week. Wink

Finally we tried it - even twice with both the morning break and Blums later on. Wasnt succesful but that is the sort of action i want to see from my team.

A strong final climb to take the win and important seconds!
I like that Arnaud tried to get ahead of the climbers, but in the end even this short steep stuff is already too much.

The gap slowly grows, but looking at the mountain stages to come, it will all be irrelevant very quickly.
Coming up, a day that shouldn't bring gaps with it. Depending on whether the break stays ahead, it could be another stage win opportunity, but maybe it's too much of a roulette to justify chasing.

Thanks for the congratulations! Smile

Fine stage for us I guess, but really gotta wonder why Aranburu is pacing in the peloton when Quintana's like the 14th best GC. Especially since I want Quintana to be far down enough to end up on the podium on the last day, I'd rather see Aranburu attacking than randomly chasing in the peloton.

Agrotis wasn’t quite the rider to put into the break, but atleast we were there.

I kinda like it if these random breaks get their wins on these medium stages, but let’s see I guess…

Don't like how this stage unfolded. A huge time gap given to the breakaway and then Formolo missing out on the chance to win some time over some guys in a stage where he should be stronger than them.

Will be interesting to see what our tactics will be in the next stage because it definitely looks to hard for Van Poppel to hang on till the end.

Criminal that we didnt get into the break on a stage like that with nobody placed highly in GC or with expectations to get there.

If Aker wins the PT this year, this will be the race that sealed it for them. Insane race they are having with a solid-ish lineup.

Haha, far too early! Especially after that stage 5, where we clearly decided to use the whole team as Herklotz' (Prasad's) domestiques, doing all the work for you! Hopefully you get to do all the work yourself from now on, assuming Herklotz stays in red Pfft

Sensational! Grin Grin Grin

Was really happy to see Preidler in the breakaway, thought it was the perfect stage design for him with the descents, and he duly delivered. Got excited when all names on the breakaway riders were written, as I thought he must have been among the stage favourites, but got slightly pessimistic when seeing him always missing out on the early KoM points, fearing others were stronger on the climbs.

Thank you for your congratulations messages!

I refuse to start believing until we are done with the Tour, as GTs are unpredictable stuff. The last two seasons we’ve clearly built our GT lineups for unpredictable (aggressive/attacking) racing, but especially Prasad’s scoring is absolutely massive. Here’s for hoping he can continue doing well! Grin

Great team effort! Vosekalns just missing out but we get the KoM. Kudos to our loanees Rubio and Voisard for the support and the top ten, and the huge lead in the teams classification! Grin

Ctrl + C Ctrl + V Congrats Aker!
