Can't say I like Lidl, but I do like your team anyway Special love for Kemboi since I did my first Qatar reports, but Yates is just such a great rider to follow as well. And it looks like you've got some successors for when your climbing leader duo will start to decline
But first and foremost, I'm happy that you're still a valuable part of the game! Good luck for transfers and the upcoming season - and good to see that you have a different jersey than last year's default PCM one

Oh the Ayubowan! days, one of the reasons it's become comparitively tricky to get small good small nations riders in (unless their Greek, which again you're making work).
Wonder if this signals a move for a few more central European riders or just rolling onwards with the anyone will do as long as they're good build. Either way, long time fan and friend of the team.

Oh dear,
another german based team. Though I like that the german cycling will be pushed by that but I dont see enough riders for the damand atm. So I hope you will be able to build a good team (and leave enough leftovers on the market for me xD). Oh and If you have too much money and you're in the need for a mediocre german rider, hit me up xD.

Wow another German team
I see your talent factory is still up there with the very best in MG so I wouldn't be surprised if you moved up some places in the PT rankings

Going to be interesting to see how deep you want to go into the German pool this season, a lot of competition in that space for sure! As I have said before, super happy that you're staying in the game and going to be interesting to see how you conduct yourself this transfer window, with no declining captains that need to be shipped!
As always you have some incredible talents maxing out, biggest question mark for me is going to be Elosegui, if he had a tad bit more fighter he'd be the perfect week 3 GT rider for stages but I still think he'll be a great utility piece!

@Fabianski: Thanks! With jerseymakers currently busy I thought I'd go for a RL jersey - as you say, it's definitely an improvement on the default PCM one
@TMM: Apologies for that . Not expecting this to result in a change of nationality focus, if anything the change of approach is more likely going to be less of a focus on looking to the future, and perhaps more willingness to sign riders that are declining (or about to).
@cio and Ezeefreak: Don't worry, as stated above that won't be an issue. Officially this has been a British team for the past 4 seasons and has had a max of 2 British riders in each of those seasons - expect similar!
@redordead: I thought this last season and look what happened . The challenge now is trying to restock the roster with talents, which will make for a fun transfers...
@WJ: Thanks! It'll be interesting for sure, the roster construction remains very similar to that of the team which won the PCT title in 2020, which perhaps isn't the best approach for PT and may need to change. Elosegui is an interesting one - the question is really whether the high RES cancels out the low FL, and what the scoring potential is for a rider of that type who doesn't get into breaks very often. |

If you can't answer this question, I'm sure he'll be happy to come back home in Bilbao
As others have said, nice to see you with a nice jersey! I won't confuse your team with Binance anymore!

LIDL as a main sponsor of a cycling team just looks wrong to me. I know this is inspired by the real life cycling team but it remains odd to me.
Looking forward to an availability list. Several potentially interesting riders for me here so we'll surely talk again a bit. Glad to see you continuing!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

After a particularly difficult renewals period, 19 riders re-signed with the team for the upcoming season. For the first time in the team's history a rider refused all our renewal offers - Enzo Wouters turning down a near doubling in wage in the final round of negotiations. Only 5 riders accepted their initial offers, with 5 more agreeing terms in the second round and the final 9 in the third, suggesting that there was little that could have been done to secure them on lower wages.
Once again, this means the team enters transfers over the salary cap. That fact, combined with a desire to restock the roster with talents and the ultimate aim of moving away from the PT relegation zone, means sales are likely. At least 5 riders will be sold, even if the exact names are not yet set in stone, and we expect that one or more of our higher earners could leave if the deal is right. |

As always love the squad the talents et cetera blah blah blah A tough renewals for sure, would have thought there could have been more done with Mansouri - but it means if you let me have him then it's just even more cap space you're clearing
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

How in earths name did you get Soulious to cost that much? Couldn't you atleast have put him on the FA list for me?
You made a mistake next to Boutopoulos. You forgot 4 dots.

A team full of riders who I have an interest in. We’ll definitely be in contact at some point during transfers. Will be interesting to see how your window shapes up and the team you take into the season.

I don't think you'll struggle selling this time around. Maybe we have a chat or two

Seems like a busy transfer season's ahead of you. But I don't think your riders are my price category though
