Just as I got some questions already about transfer season etc.
This thread later on will become the usual transfer timeline with exact dates and deadlines.
But to give you some kind of plannings at the moment, the following schedule is all but secured but might work.
Wednesday | 19/07 6PM | PTHC selection starts | Tuesday | 25/07 6PM | Renewals Deadline | till end of July | | Graphics & Equipment | -1 day | | Final deadline for goals, HC [PCT] and PTHC [PT/PCT] band choices | Friday | 11th August | Transfer Window Opens |
Due to holidays and work there might be a bit of a gap in the 2nd half of July. This really should be used by all managers to get all the graphics and equipment done and sent in. This is earlier than in the past but it often did slow down the process during/after transfers and it`s nothing that needs to wait till after anyway. NC jerseys can always be added later on then.
As said, this schedule is just a quick guess of the actual status behind the scenes and known times of impossible transfers.
I also want to thank all managers that keep this game running by taking over a lot of tasks. Every task helps but I in especially want to thank

and hopefully I haven`t forgotten anyone. If so, I am highly sorry.
Those really do a fantastic job with lots of stuff and having taken over parts of the off-season completely such as rider addition, calendar, renewals, goals and other stuff as also all the race reports.
All time consuming things that I couldn`t handle myself anymore and am very glad that others did step in!

To be honest, for personal reasons I'd prefer the transfer season to start from 11th. Not that it would be impossible to conduct transfers if they start on 4th, but would be more difficult as may not be online very often in that period.
I would fully understand if the start date is 4 August.

Personally massively favour the 4th because the sooner we get going the better and I will miss the first few hours on transfers on the 11th due to work commitments but again if most people prefer the 11th I am not gonna refute it.

I would like to join the expression of gratitude towards everyone helping to keep this on the road!
11th might be slightly preferred here since that would coincide with a joint holiday with our new assistant manager.
Do I understand correctly that it is acceptable to take a peek at the new riders first before finishing renewals, as long as there are plans in place to act quickly once the DB drops?

Thanks for the Overview and the work you all do.
I just have one request, can we change the 22 in the title to 23 to satisfy my inner monk?

Thanks for the timeline and to all the people working behind the scene.
On the transfer date, I'm on holidays from 11 to 15 so that's that, but I guess it will be when it's possible anyway.
(And I suppose I can't be less ready than last year anyway)

Would love it to be the 11th, but it wouldn't be a big problem if it was the 4th. |

My understanding is that this is correct (because i'm in the same boat of waiting for DB with Rider Additions before doing my renewals).

Preferring the 11th as well, if it has to be a Friday. For me, it can start any day from the 6th on, just 4th/5th wouldn't be optimal
But it should obviously be the date that suits the Admins best.

What is the current estimate for when the promotion/relegation situation is resolved?

That's what we are trying to accomplish, yes.

I think this information concerns the timeline as well, so I thought I'd repost it here:

btw. as info:
The budgets will be send out asap after the disband list.
Much easier for me to finalize and calculate those after having the list 100 % correct.
Promotion/relegation list will definitely come before PTHC band submissions open. As roturn mentioned, renewals should be finished rather quickly now with the talents DB available, but I clearly understand those who want their budget before finishing renewals. I'm sure roturn and Nemo will do their best to push things forward once promotions/relegations are clear

And the 11th seems to be confirmed as the transfer start day, maybe an even more important update
