Nice to see Kinoshita showing his class even if means that we lose a GC spot! Great riding from Houle. Fantastic way for him to close out his time as a maxed rider!

Pretty disappointing race for us. Just no selection at all with all the peloton's force seeming to leave as soon as they hit the actual difficult climbs on both days. Aranburu needs the difficulty, so without it he was never going to live up to 3 star favorite status. Also disappointing that Olesen and Gregaard swapped front group placings so neither gets any real depth points.
Not our best effort in the final stretch of the promotion race, that's for sure. Congrats to Xero and thanks for the reports!

8th and 13th is perfectly fine given the riders around Ndayisenga and Eyob. Not a ton of points obviously, and certainly not happy about the complete lack of breakaway action, but we didn't expect much from this race anyway.
Great stuff as always Nemo, always good to read your reports

Absolutely terrible. A race Borges should be a shoe in for a top-5 and he rides like he’s already on vacation already. That finale is tailor made for him, and he goes into it sitting at the back of the group passively. Hopefully that doesn’t get us relegated.
Congrats Valv if you are still around and thanks Nemo for the reports.

I would’ve liked it if Schultz could at least get into the top 10 overall. We did well in the stages scoring some points there but again I don’t think it’s enough for promotion. I think that boat has set sail anyway

Ditto to all this but worse for Boswell, totally puzzled by this outcome. Must have just hit the ugly spot of not fast enough to qualify with the sprinters and not strong enough climber to finish with the climbers. We have had a series of terrible races (TOA aside) and this was the worst of them.

Welp, here goes our 15th place in the rankings, I guess... Poor race in our home region.
Thanks for the reports though.

Thanks for the reports to nemo and congratulations to Voyagin for the stage win and Xero for a stage win and the GC.
After all it has been a good race for us despite the eventless first two stages, especially thanks to Teuns. But also good to see the team work for him and getting nice results out of it.
