Yes! Great stage win Alexey! Love it when attacking pays off. Also thanks to a very active Novak.
Strange that Leknessunds cheeky attack dropped so many big guns. Guess it did help Lutsenko.
Defending the jersey tomorrow will be hard but not impossible.

Always love seeing a Lutsenko win! Also potentially season defining race in the making here for Lierse!

More annoyances as we throw away a stage win, at the very least bonus seconds, and potentially the overall by not chasing that attack.
At least there were decent gaps from that bunch so it won't be that bad points-wise, but Silvio really needs a strong final climb tomorrow and make it onto the GC podium to get some return on investment here.

Kelderman losing 7'30" is not the stage we hoped for.
Btw, Imladrik, I don't think Lillestrom is in Belgium

Strange stage, and not exactly ideal for us that our two best prologue riders, Ioannidis and Kiriakidis both decided not to show up. They should have fighted for 1 minute better or so.
Giannoutsos for some reason doing fine here. Doesn't really make up for it, but atleast gives us a 2 pony race as Spanopoulos did fine today. I can only hope that the final uphill is somewhat mountainnous so Spanopoulos and Giannoutsos can keep their position in the GC, or maybe even climb a spot or two, but I guess I'll have to see it to believe it.
Koretzky nowhere to be seen. Let's hope to see him attack instead of that useless Vlatos attack, that makes no sense.
Oh well, atleast the race seems wide open.

Three riders messing around in the breakaway to get 2nd in the KoM classification, while the leader loses time because of a split.
Only way we can save this if we put 4 riders in the breakaway, including Gerts, in the next stage.

What, but it has Lille in the name!
More seriously, I know that, I meant that the terrain and the weather felt like Belgium

The tt was quite disappointing from my riders, but a good depth result on the second stage lightens my mood. Great to see Lutsenko winning, congrats DD! |

Another very disappointing stage race hilly stage from Mohoric Seems like he can only work in classics this season.
Brave ride by Foss, though, who stays in the fight for white. Would be great if he can do an overall podium there. That's our new goal for this race! |

This is one of those stage races where only a couple of us achieve what we're aiming for. But even with that in mind this is a let down from Bobridge.
Congrats to the one not being hit by the disapointment train!

After only Reading about Lafay I kinda expected the worst here, but what an amazing depth result. Spanopoulos in 10th is much better than expected, Giannoutsos in the top 20 also to take 3rd U25 is a nice surprise too after the poor prologue. Kiriakidis and Koretzky add to the scoring too and Ioannidis makes a 10 pointer. Looking at Stage 1 I would have hoped for much better, but it doesn’t matter who takes home the cake really.
Congrats on a deserved Phinney win.

No surprise to see Phinney and Herklotz on the podium but a very disappointing race by Lopez. We didnt race like we wanted to get there but instead raced like we were happy to cruise to a top 5-7 GC finish which absolutely cant be the intention for us. Very uncharacteristic for Lopez too since he often is too over the top aggressive.
Congrats Cro once again. Feels like im typing that way too often
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Gerts just can't figure out stage races. One of the worst races of the season. Probably only topped by Qatar.
Thanks for the reports!

Encouraging racing by Foss, who got helped by a good prologue, but defended well on the hills to get 2nd in the youth classification. Mohoric was disappointing, but unfortunately we've come to expect such in stage races this season.
Cool battle for the GC win, and Phinney proving his class! Congratulations, croatia, and thank you a lot for the reports, Imladrik. |

Losing the race to Phinney by 6 seconds is just crazy. He's only in his second year with us, but Domen Novak is already a team legend. Totally justified his training as well
Oomen securing a 7th place and De Plus doing just enough to get us the team classification is just awesome. Bring me rankings!
Congratulations to Croatia for the win, though it was probably closer then he would've liked. And of course a big thanks to Imladrik for yet another fine set of reports.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I second the rankings motion, but you're not getting any points as a wildcard in a PT race

Aww, did I do a BBL? Damn it's hard to see the difference between PT and PTHC nowadays

Prime time Taylor Phinney that man stepped up so beautiful here you love to see it. Almost even mire happy about what my man Domen did for Loerse, that's a breakout performance. And I just love to see him properly unleashed at Lierse, what an awesome rider he is!
Big thanks for the gratulations and the awesome reports!

Didn't really have a good use for the last race days that Würtz had left, so we sent him here. Good to see that he really tried to make the most out of the race.
Not a super, super race for us, but the expectations wasn't the greatest anyway. APP a bit invisible, seems like he's either good or quite mediocre.
King Phinney strikes again
