A rare poor showing from Langlois in World Ports. Can't let it get to us.

Pleasing podium for Bardet at San Sebastian after some good work by Smith.
Congrats to CCC and thanks for the video and results Shonak.

Oh wow, I have to say that was kinda unexpected. Sure Komisarek is a very well-rounded rider now and it seems giving him full World Cup focus turned out to be great thing for us. Also Ewan finally starting his season and actually winning? Another well received race for our sponsor, lol. |

Bit of a content drop as atm my usual swimming routine in the evenings keeps me a bit from posting results.. Poland wrapped up as well as results for Ride London, ToNE, and Annecy.

Ouch... How does it come that Chamorro is SO BAD? I'd really like to get the point of what's always going wrong with him, so that I could train him "correctly"...
Iirc he got 7th in a WT stage race this year already, so 7th in Austria (while being the shared best clibmer) is really awful. That guy just sucks almost all season long.
At least we got some nice depth results, along with the team standings win, but we're always missing out on big points. Time to get that season done and maybe start over again.
Btw, stages 1-3 of Austria have been posted twice. And given that the July rankings are already posted as well, I guess I somehow missed Juarez? Could anyone point me to the right results page then? Can't find it
I have tried to keep my eye on Chamorro in the races this year given your activity. Whilst your team is usually in some strong numbers present with 2-3 helpers, he seems to be rather in the back and often uses the first few kilometers of time to catch up. Seeing this happen in almost every race he enters, it seems to burn his matches too much. It is odd that he usually is riding without energy earlier than his helpers. Sometimes they continue riding w/o him, sometimes the AI seems confused as to whether it should stay with Chamorro or the leaders.
Taking a look at other 79 MT riders, they are all superior in ACC and far better in Resistance (only 68 is way too low), some also in Recovery but this matters less in those weeklong stage races. Esp Acc is a very important stat in PCM15 so if you want to pimp Chamorro I'd look to get his resistance higher up so he can ride properly in the pack upfront w/o wasting energy and also ACC to follow those small accelerations that are about positioning in the group.
If you look at Kelderman, Pinot and Contador who are arguably the best 79 mt rider and even beat guys in the mountain better than them, they all have great resistance and also good ACC.

Lavery seeming to crash out of contention on the first stage of Northern Europe was, uh, not ideal.
I hoped Mullen would be able to stay close enough to the front to still get a good placing and make up for it, but he didn't have the legs on the cobbles stage. Really rough for us in the promotion hunt.

Thanks a lot for keeping an eye on Chamorro. I know that his energy stats are (too) low, but I definitely didn't think that this would have an impact on positioning. As you say, his position often is so bad that once he gets to the front, the decisive attack has already happened.
Honestly, I feel like energy stats don't really matter in older PCM versions - and I still don't think they're really important in terms of running out of steam, but it looks like they still have an impact on riders' positioning.
Which might partially explain why he was again just pathetic in Annecy. Nogueira was pretty well positioned iirc, but Chamorro had to come back from way behind - and when he arrived up front, the stronger climbers were gone. 24th is another hugely disappointing result, but I obviously had to expect it. I'll have to stop hoping for good Chamorro days I guess - let's hope I can somewhat improve him this offseason.

yes, Laengen did super good in Poland, never saw him until the two decisive stages. One attack = best result, clever race for him.
Fenn again close but not to the point, that second behind Kwiatkowski is copy/paste from the 2nd place at TdF for just couple of inches, and third place in points ranking is disappointing, never good on flat stages, and wasted too much energies on cobbles stage, where Broeckx got a good 3rd place.
Engeldinger in the top5 in Annecy is one of the best results we could aim for.

ToNE a big disappointment for Renault, Pedersen and Eisaks not getting involved even when Stafford was in the break giving the team an easy ride. Hepburn did OK to finish 12th in GC.
Was sure the leading 3 would be caught at Annecy but the chasers sat up and allowed Bardet to get another podium.

Team BP is very happy with these races. A stage and the points jersey for Howard, our overperformer this season. Our first WT points jersey, after Howard already managed our first WT stage race win (Ster ZLM Tour). Thank you, Leigh!
Two more disappointing TTs from Flakemore, but he was surprisingly good on the tough stages, 7th overall is an unexpected result.
Tao with good positioning in Annecy, 6th is a really nice result for him.
Plus a good team performance in our CT.2 home race, including a top 10 for Stannard.

Yes you lack some top tier firepower but the base squad is really good. If you get some better leaders I think the other riders will also perform better.
Batch of results posted. Again sorry for the slow pace at the moment, I'm in full work and marathon / triathlon training and it won't ease up anytime soon. That said I don't foresee any major issues to close the season as between dominox and me we only have some races in september and the october races outstanding.

5th is a great result from Bilbao in San Jose! More of that please Pello
Some half-decent stage results in the Baltics but unfortunately not the best GC so not the best points haul but at least a bit of visibility!

Great to see Langlois taking care of business in Baltic! I do wish we prevented one of those breakaway wins since Langlois looked poised for another stage, but ultimately you can never complain about a GC victory. Love having a home rider with Xavier's talent!

Baltic Chain Tour
Eisaks turns up for the prologue, didn't manage better than 10th in the next 4 stages and came 2nd in GC! Some kind of ninja cycling going on here.
Safford 2nd in U25 and Renault 3rd in teams makes this a pretty successful race for us.
Thanks for the reports Shonak and congrats to BBL.

I guess San José probably was our weakest focus race so far - but with 8th and 11th place from Huamán and Zabel definitely still nothing to scoff at. Huamán hopefully will finally take the step to a puncheur with Top 5 potential in CT.2 races this offseason, as that's the race type we're not really in contention for the top spots yet.
Another 8th place by Huamán in Rio confirms that he's a solid puncheur already, but it's really time to take the next step now.

No worries about the ICL pace and good luck with pace in the races you are training for
