Absolutely brilliant!
We managed to make the most from the exploit of having 2 very strong sprinters, both taking a stagewin aswell as the leaders jersey on Stage 2. Obviously it hurt to see Bouglas crack this bad within the final metres, but it was never about him, and he kept the door open for Coquard to take a fantastic win!
Great day to get both the first and second stagewin of the year!
Thanks for another sublime report. Must have taken A LOT of time. But very much appreciated!

Great report. Can we get a normal sprint preperation for once this year please. Quite frustrating atm.

Really nice report, I managed to learn things on my own countri and home race (or close enough).
And quite a messy sprint. Seems like Frebruary is ELCO's month.
Good luck to everyone, the road's still long. |

Ben Turner in the attack in his first and only race of the season, lovely
Abdul Halil with some great positioning, just some km's too early I'm afraid. Nothing to do against ELCO - ABEA today (and on many other days apparently ), congratulations on the win.
Thanks for the detailed report again, Fabianski. Was hoping arriving in Nemo(urs) would bring us some luck, but alas.

No stopping ELCO! Congratulations, what a start to the season for you, SotD!
Encouraging and very nice to see Dainese mix it and give the sprint a shot. What a rider he will be when finished developing. 5th place here makes me excited to see him have a go at it again on the other sprint stages here. Not because I expect better results, but just to follow him battle for positions is nice |

Lecuisinier continuing to collect a few points for the green jersey is a nice bonus. But with the "top two" sprinters so dominant in there.
S4 was where i was hoping to claim yellow. With Madrazo ahead right now, that might get difficult but with bonus seconds in play, who knows...

What the f… It’s really weird how these results Seem to come in blocks. It always have been like that, but for no apparent reason… Thanks for another great report.
Impressive that Kemboi still sit in green after Coquard won 2/3 stages and even picked up seconds on the route on Stage 2. Point wise, doesn’t really matter but it’s impressive!
Seems like Koumpetsos and Bouglas is a good combination for Coquard. Atleast here. Unfortunately I don’t think I have that combination often.
Like in Tirreno this is kinda where the race stops for us. Fingers crossed something interesting Can still happen, though.

Kind of the same story for us as yesterday. Level 1 joins the attack, but gets blown back quickly. Then some decent positioning at the front of our sprinter with some km's to go, but not there when he really needs to be. Thanks for another entertaining report and congratulations to SotD

Could've been better had Van der Sande not chosen to take Lo Cicero's wheel again, but 5th is a very solid result in any case. Vahtra taking his chance in the break makes it a sweet day for us, despite Fab getting our hopes up

Fun fact: De Stijl and ELCO both have wins on the first 3 stages of T-A and P-N - so in theory Duolingo should take S3 in P-N
Where's my win?
Great report, in any case!

No luck for Dainese today, which is fine in such a packed field. Hoping he get slightly less competition later this season.
Congratulations on another win, SotD. Flying! |

Hmm wasted racedays for Hsu. I got optimistic when seeing him contend the intermediate sprints in stage 2 but in the final he always managed to be out of position. Hope the next stages will be better for our team.
Congrats SotD on all the recent successes! |

A bit of a poor stage for us, but somewhat expected after been satisfied with Larsen in the youth jersey from the start.
Decent effort by Lasta, but not to be this time. Vingegaard struggled quite a lot, but he's not a hill expert, so hopefully that gives him some freedom on the mountain stage. Cool to see our former loanee Sosa taking the win!

Ouch here aswell. Chiarello not up to the speed as he really should have been a group further ahead, but he struggled throughout. Also Giannoutsos on a bad day - more expected though.
I really hope they Can better it the next days, otherwise it will be some expensive GC racedays in a potential survival battle.

Amazing! Really happy about the stage win and also about how Sosa has done it. What a way for him to introduce himself to his new team. He'll probably not be able to keep his good GC position but would be nice if he could keep the white jersey until the end. |

Good to see Primozic try and be competitive in the breakaway. For our GC chances, it looks like Foss will have a difficult time finding a top 5 in the U25 standings. Hopefully he or Van Poucke can fight their way through and claim a top 5 there come the end of the race. |

So things are heating up for us here with a pretty decent performance from Morton, hopefully he can continue that to stage 6 and Carthy can stay up there. Things are obviously very close at the top and we still don't have a rider in the top 10 which hopefully doesn't affect us negatively here.
On a side note - massively cheering on Meintjes, he would do well to hang on to the lead but does have a leg up on the competition and the yellow Jersey bonus may see him through!

Good to see that if the sprint functions normally we can still win, even if against the best sprinter in Coquard. Saved something from this race, now let's hope that Chamorro attacks on the climbs.
