Nice little 7th place for Canty in the TT. Also O'Connor with a solid result.

Good TT by Madrazo, can't ask for much more than 4th on the day and second best among GC riders. I think Oomen is too far gone, but 51 seconds to Galta in 3rd place could be doable. That said, the stage tomorrow also has a good chance to not be very selective among the contenders, and staying in 6th overall would be rather sad. But at least this was a good ride by Angel, so let's focus on that!

Ok. Will wait for Stage 8 to judge.

Congrats on the inevitable, Croatia
Rohendi 14th in GC is a nice surprise, hopefully he’s far enough down time wise he can get into the break tomorrow. If not, hopefully Kolar can get him himself in there otherwise it’s going to be a disaster for us.
Thanks for the report roturn!

Oh God. Of course Guldhammer had to do this to me.
With one stage to go, Guldhammer has snuck his way into the top 5 we need to complete our PTHC goal. Very good TT today for him given his skill level. Wasn't expecting it to be honest.
Of course, that placement is almost entirely useless because Madrazo is now just 9 seconds behind, and it's a foregone conclusion that he'll gap Rasmus in the mountains. So really, we're in 6th at best. On a good day we may have enough firepower to stave off the better climbers behind us, but it seems very unlikely we'll be strong enough to unseat Barguil or Galta. It would take a horrendous day from them and a great day from Rasmus. I wish we gained more marginal time in the hills so this could be close, but I'm just gonna stay happy that Guldhammer made it back to the peloton at all on the first hilly stage, cause if he hadn't this is a very different race for us.
The rest of the team rode well today too. Eg especially always comes through in these stage race TT's (maybe I should have trained him after all). I'm not sure what strategy I would even use tomorrow because "all in for Guldhammer" could end up costing us a lot of points while missing the goal anyway. Right now Eg and Gregaard may score very solidly on GC, and I'd like to keep them both as high up as possible. I guess it falls on Aranburu to be the main pure helper.

That’s one hell of a TT by Spanopoulos. Too bad it doesn’t matter GC wise. But it’s points nontheless.

Who the fuck is Jack Burke?
Can't complain too much with the names above Bennett and Habtemichael apart from that. Obviously we always want an overperformance, but this is still a performance, especially Habtemichael beating out Pogacar is a surprise and not one I expect to be repeated too much this season, so will enjoy his first ever U25 jersey very much
Thanks for the reports roturn, really enjoy them always and congrats to Croatia I guess, you really showed all the doubters who said sending the best rider in the world to a traditionally under-attended PTHC event wouldn't result in a win!

I somewhat expected not to gain any more places, I didn't expect Madrazo to lose one DJ Khaled style, as the common saying goes. It's unfortunate to be spending 23,5% of his limited race days here and come away with virtually nothing. This is how an allegedly surefire 2.3 million promotion bid goes awry. Still some good races to make up for this, but certainly not the start we were hoping for his Bralirwa career. At least the team showed up this time though, which was nice to see.
Thanks for the nice reports roturn and congrats to Croatia, and everyone else who did well here.

For whatever reason my leaders aren't performing for me. Underwhelming race for us, I wonder at what point of the season things turn around.
Hopefully not too late.

We did exactly what was needed today, but unfortunately the gap never became big enough for Mavrikakis to take the needed win. Still he managed to stay with the group and climb his way to 16th GC, while also Spanopoulos had a solid day to finish the race in 19th.
Unfortunately we hardly accumulate any points from the race, so it was more of an experience rather than something useful in terms of survival.
Congrats (again) to croatia for a win and a big congrats to Binance for playing this just right!
Commiserations to bbl for losing the goal by one single spot, and to cunego for that really poor GC performance from Madrazo. Those are definately not what you want to see.

Shame we didn't take another one and didn't work our depth at all, but overall we got what we came for. Thanks for the reports!

The stage started with great news and four riders in the break, including the most important KoM competitors. Quite a ride then with Hamilton being dropped at times and still a very close KoM win eventually! The perfect rider to claim this shirt, as mentioned earlier (bidding war pays off and stuff). Also nice to see the always active Bayly in the mix and eventually we also got a couple of minor GC results here.. but the KoM obviously as the biggest achievement (pretty sure we once took the KoM in this race before).
Storer's season as pretty much the only concerning development so far. He needs to be in the mix for U25 classifications instead of not existing in those races.
Thanks for the great reports and congratulations to all, who did well!

Very happy with Vingegaard's performance here! On top of the two stage wins early on, we have to be very happy with the race. Had hoped for a bit more from APP, but hopefully he can show that in other races to come.
Awesome to see all the Danish riders towards the front at the end there, and big congrats to Carlsberg on winning the teams classification. And of course, congrats to Croatia on the GC win.
