Wait, Did I really saw correctly that my team won the Teams Classification at Ster ZLM Tour?!

GVK is so frustrating to watch. He looks like the strongest racer but always finds a way to lose.
DVP in Ster ZLM isn't much better, he always does horrible in that race.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

can't understand how Phinney missed the split, than ok to get 5th over Sagan...
Ironically Fenn get 2nd in the sprint in the only stage won by the break.

For all my complaining about wheel sucking Senechal did a fair amount in PR. Would have been nice to see him try an attack somewhere but he left it for the sprint which seems foolish. At least he managed to beat Vanmarcke. Congrats to Pintzo - he timed the sprint the best.
2nd in RVV and 3rd in Paris-Roubaix is a decent finish to the cobbles season, although not exactly a home run given the almost total lack of points in every other race. Also think Favilli must have crashed as he was in the third group at one point but finished like 130th, which hurts.
Nice to see one of our Algerians get a top 10 on a stage at ZLM.

Ai ignored us completely in Ster ZLM Tour it seems, which was a shame.
Great 4th place by Vanmarkce, happy with that
Thanks for the continued reports and pace Shonak!

Stages 3 and 4 of Ster ZLM were the best sprints in PCM history.
Thank you Alitalia for that surprise move on stage 3 and then a never seen before BP sprint train on stage 4... incredible. Our first ever WT stage race victory, by Leigh Howard against all these amazing sprinters.
Congrats, Pintzo, a Greek winner in the Velodrome! @df_Trek: Kristoff was the weak link in the group and couldn't follow the attack with 27 km to go and Phinney and Sagan were stuck behind. 6th is still a really good result, shame that Komisarek was 8th...
Pedal Africa did everything they could to win their home tour, but Eijssen was simply too strong.

Not the best finish for us in ZLM after the first two stages, but we'll take the 6th in such a crowded field.

damn...But they had to let Kristoff go in last wheel, being behind him was a bad positioning choice (as many other times this year, Phinney was quite better last season as CT rider)

De Panne posted on the prior page, plus first stages of Trentino, Campania and ZLM Tour. Something for everyone on the weekend.
Spoiler bit annoying to have lost the ttt and the potential leader jersey by 1 sec but what a performance by crochet in trentino. it reminds me of pulido last season in the same race, but this year he is only an also-ran sadly.

Damn, catastrophic stage 1 for in De Panne. Based on the fact that our entire team was back with Lavery, and he and Cossette did well on stage 2, I have to assume it was a very ill timed crash or puncture. Terrible to come up completely on GC when we had good chances and favorable startlists for Lavery. Ugh.
But amazing performances by the team in Trofeo Campania to make up for it! I thought Mullen was our guy, but Desjardins has had a major breakthrough this year with multiple wins and great consistency for his stats. It's so fulfilling to have young regional leaders pulling off stuff like this. The win and Mullen's 5th place are phenomenal results, and really are putting us in a great World Cup position as far as CT teams go!

The leadership duo of Geniez-Lambert doesn't seem to be working that well yet. Hope Lampaert and Petit can keep their high positions in the GC in De Panne.
But the dev team outshines the main team at the moment. Lovely 1 - 2 for Buron and Laugier

and
Giro del Trentino
Can't believe Renault won the TTT and Crochet was superb on stage 2 hanging with the leaders and finishing with the same time. Took me a while to spot him in the leaders jersey . S3 Viennet buried himself on the penultimate climb to keep Crochet in contention. Sam was swinging but did well to limit his losses and keep the leaders jersey.
VDK-Driedaagse De Panne
20 year old Daniil Detenyshev is mixing it with the big boys! 3rd in GC after S1 picking up bonus seconds in the break. Finished in the main group on S2 to maintain his time only dropping to 5th.
He is so young he doesn't qualify for U25 it seems!
Thanks for the results and videos Shonak (sorry about the TTT)

Sorensen came so close to the KoM-win in South Africa, well done by him. Great podium place by youngster Lecomte on stage 10, leading to a 13th in GC and 2nd in U25. Really well done.

oh it's a db issue with new talents this year, maybe bikex can take a look when the race is done, sorry. thanks for spotting & mentioning it. we only noticed after a few months of racing and usually those new talents should not collect any ranking points tbh as they are too bad.
@all please notify if one of your (new U23) riders has been doing particularly well in a race. |

After the (almost) total fail in the cobbles, great to see Colombo doing well. Thanks. |

Can you fall off in a ITT? I hope for Castroviejo's sake you can because hard to explain his performance in Trofeo Campania otherwise. 61st!!!

Typical PCM TT madness. Flakemore was 28th, not exactly a great result, either.
Lasse Norman doing really well in De Panne so far.
I noticed the U25 problem a while back when my best rider in the GC wasn't listed in the U25 rankings, but I'm pretty sure it didn't matter.

Great result in Campania. This is the first time ever that we have multiple competitive TT riders and have taken this race seriously. Great to have two of the guys on the podium.
Not sure why we're in Trentino though, the way things are going
