Okay so let's say deadline Sunday evening. Not sure yet if I can post the update for Monday though. |

Don't forget to send something in until 10PM CEST if you still want to. |

First transfer update posted: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread...st_1412998
Check if all the riders you bid on appear in the list or if anything else went wrong. The list belongs into the "Paste" tab of your transfer sheet to update the information in there.
I think for the next update I'll only have time on Saturday so deadline will be then. Afterwards it should be 2-3 days per round. |

Sounds good, I'll need some time to think about my next bids.
I'm writing this mostly for the newcomers: No FAs were signed in this day 0 round. All FAs who now have a 1 in the Until column on the FABids tab will sign for that wage with the next update unless there's a new bid.
This is true for the following FAs with a min wage of 300+: Senechal, Bouhanni, Fenn, Elissonde, Hoelgaard, Enger, Beckeringh, Benoot, Theuns and Looyen.

Quick question, for the next rounds of bids, do we send the entire FA PM sheet again or just for riders we have updated our bids on?

Important addition to that (assuming I understood it correctly):
If you counter the leading bid on such a rider, but the team currently leading has set a maximum bid that exceeds your new bid, the rider will still automatically sign for that team for a wage of (your bid + 5).
So simply outbidding the current lead might not be enough to get in the lead, or even just to keep the rider a Free Agent throughout the next day!

@cio
Thanks for precising, exactly what I was about to do
So if the new leading bid comes from the same team than the preceding one, the rider will still sign.
Additionally, if a rider was ready to sign for 3 days, but with leading offers coming from different teams, he'll sign for the highest bid no matter what after 3 days.
@cunego
You can send the entire PM, Bikex' tool will ignore previously posted bids. You can also just send the updates; as it's not possible to withdraw leading bids, those will still be considered anyway.

Thank you, cio! Yes, indeed, you never know what max people have set and simply outbidding the current amount might not be enough. The manager with the leading bid might even consider upping their max offer to feel more secure in getting a rider early. On the other hand there's still time (inside that 3 day window) for the current "leader" to counter a counter offer.

So that's today?
Is it only me or is the transfer period pretty lame (little action) so far? Or is that just ICL? Or everyone waiting for the first FA signings to move on?

I tried to make big enough splashes to spawn discussion, but there's only so much I can do.

Well, it depends on how you define rewarding I guess. Getting Mullen and Boily on board for big money may not be worth it from a points perspective, but I don't think I'll regret getting two top riders from my regions on board. Very happy with how I've improved my team strength while conserving my identity.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

I won't have time today, so it'll be tomorrow. Afterwards the rounds will become definitely shorter.
Transfer season might seem lame but it should also be possible to take part without too much dedication and time spent. The long time I had to give for the first two rounds probably also doesn't help. It should become more interesting with the first FAs signed. |

Some big fish already signed. I have decided on a preliminary schedule for transfers. The number of rounds is not decided yet but I'd say for the next rounds it will be like this:
Round 0: 01.05 10:00PM CEST
Round 1: 08.05 10:00PM CEST
Round 2: 11.05 10:00PM CEST
Round 3: 14.05 10:00PM CEST
Round 4: 16.05 10:00PM CEST
Round 5: 18.05 10:00PM CEST

If you're using an old version of the transfer sheet, riders such as Anthony Roux will probably be appearing as signed to N/A (Team=13). I copied the following three rows from the newer transfer sheet and it seems to have fixed it.
Spoiler 97 | Ziggo | 97 | 5750 | 26 | 5750 | 0 | 0 | CT | 98 | DFK Panevėžys | 98 | 5750 | 26 | 5750 | 0 | 0 | CT | 13 | Euskaltel - Elior | 13 | 5750 | 26 | 5750 | 0 | 0 | CT |
Just paste into A37 in your teams tab and it (hopefully) should work!

Woking well Oz, thanks! It's the "Teams" tab though isn't it?

Can I list a rider more than once in a signing directive? (i.e. sign Rider A for 100, if that fails sign Rider B for 100, if that fails sign Rider A for 200) |

Yes that's possible. You can be creative with the lists and for example also ensure that a bid on two riders is placed in case the main target is above your limit or have the same rider as replacement for two main bids.
For everyone please if you change your signing directives always send in all of them that are active. |
