Cobbles in stage races AI strikes again.
Bit of a weird finish, but it was of course a great team result with six riders in the top 22. Could end up being a huge scoring race for us, but let's see how the rest of the stages play out.
Thanks for the reports, LLS!

Guess our three years of ridiculous overperformances here have finally come to an end - about time but still sad
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Oh ya, but seen from the outside kinda interesting to see how the race will turn out from here. At least might be an idea to move this strength sapper to the last day, if you decide to keep the race.
Great report!

Hi Tamijo,
nice to see you around again. It`s been quite some time!
And indeed your suggestion might be needed in addition to 1-2 other changes for a better AI here. |

Don't know what you are all talking about the AI seemed fine to me
Can't believe Kasperkiewicz wins this stage again with the same tactics as last year. While last year he managed to hold off the peloton, I already thought it was over when he was caught. Nice to see he made use of this stage, which is one of only few opportunities on the calendar that suit his skills.
That's also why I hope if you decide to remove/change this race there'll be some suitable replacements for cobblers with decent climbing skills.
Last year Kasperkiewicz had a bigger gap after the first stage, this time I feel it will be closer with Kamyshev only few seconds behind and also the topguns still within reach. |

@roturn
Hi, been here on and off all the time. But expect to find a bit of time soon where I could make some races or stages in PCM2020 if needed. Might also do a few reports at some point, just not ready for the hassel of downloading all that is needed right now. Work is hard with many colleagues down (CV-19).
Have spend my spare time playing the stunning Red Dead Redemtion II western open world game the last 7-8 months, but expect to split my time when the cycling season truly begins.

Great to see you back, Tamijo!
What a sprint by Van Poppel there! Funny to see him taking a victory before Grosu this season

No sprinting for Lander. He was a third tier contender, so I suppose that's not surprising, though it would have been nice.
Not good for us that Pederson sprinted though. That helps him a lot on the countback for 5th place, and he'll likely be trying again the next two days. At least he stayed out of bonus seconds this time. It was already very unlikely that Sinkeldam could stick with Mads and Gerts on stage 5, but top 5 is our season goal, so we have to get a lot of things in our favor for that to happen after stage 1.
Congrats to Alex!

We could at least try for breaks now that we won't have any GC chances.
Thanks for the report!

It's frustrating that Hsu recently does not participate in sprints. But we still got the GC lead, so all is good! |

Come join T3A hanging out at the back of the peloton. We've got some delicious Mount Gay Rum!
If you're enjoying some refrehsments the dissapointment is reduced # ad

Completely missed we were here. Really cool to see Setiawa doing his thing off the front two days straight, he’s gonna be an awesome rider maxed. Page kind of getting involved in the sprint is cool to see, so at least we’ll take a couple of points Degenkolb dudded here though, and it may seems as though Bewley won’t sprint as he’s a GC rider here?
Thanks for the report!

Twice in 3rd is a decent result. Plus now having the points jersey.
But tomorrow really should get a 1st or 2nd to get some more points from here after the GC desaster and for defending the lead.
Thanks for the report. |

Good sprint by Pedersen on stage 2, but unfortunately not in the sprint today. A bit of a pity, considering both the split that occurred and the points jersey, but hopefully he can mix it up again tomorrow.
Thanks for the report!

Awesome for Voyagin! I hope they can get some more of that from Liu going forward.
Page with a great ride! He’s got a low sprint stat, but his really good backups are serving him well here. Awesome.
Thanks for the report also

Really decent sprint by Scully. But I hope the others, especially Per, at least try something now.

Wow LLS you really had me fooled when you said Degenkolb and Rowe’s gap was too big to be crossed, I really got my hopes up
