Of couse the one time Perera would get a stage podium, a breakaway spoils the party Still, good to see he's theoretically capable of a decent result.
Cool finale nicely reported, thank you LLS. And happy for Fabianski and Jura, a nice result well-deserved!

Gayral doing an even better job in the breakaway! Our Caribbean neo-pros are proving they deserve a spot in the cycling peloton.

Lander went too early this time, but not an issue because Suter got himself in the winning break! Great to get a 4th place here, and nice to see it coming from a kid like Suter. Well rounded, former stag. Nothing exceptional in terms of natural skill, but hard working. Uses his abilities to stay with the winning move and get a nice placing despite being surrounded by better riders. Very happy to see it.
Congrats to Fabianski, well deserved win.

This is exactly the type of stage I had in mind when signing Vendrame. Had he been in that breakaway, I'm sure he could have fought for the stage win. Maybe in the remaining two days. I continue to be surprised by how we are close to the front, now all of a sudden with Rosskopf. Tomorrow could suit Ndayisenga really really well if he keeps himself in a good position into the finale. Hope he can secure a Top 10 spot.

Marquez is a better sprinter than Vesely on this game

Nothing stage for us, predictably. Aranburu again not even attempting to be productive. Sinkeldam at least gave us a breakaway appearance.
Congrats to lief!

The calm before the storm. Good to see Kwiatkowski safe through, now it is all to play for with a very thight GC. |

Will never understand why we don't join breaks despite having suited riders and them not being in GC contention! Teuns keeps losing time for some reason too, probably because he's working for Raileanu. Hope we can get something out of this race in the remaining stages.
Thanks for the reports!

I didn't expect this stage to influence the GC too much. The fact the 3 breakaway riders scooped up the bonus seconds was perfect for Beltran, and he still managed to finish 8th on the stage which is pretty good
Pogacar had a much better day it seems and Gaudu moves into white which is very nice Hopefully everyone, but especially Beltran stay strong for the final two stages.

Nothing special for us, but still nice to see Lopez Nolasco in the breakaway. Too bad Munoz is so far behind, as only another surviving breakaway could bring him into the top-50 of the GC to at least score something. Thanks for another very nice report LLS, looking forward to how the race's final will unfold in the last two stages

Lazy commenting on my behalf, sorry for that. Gesink is actually doing well here which is refreshing, but the thoughest days are yet to come I guess, so we're holding our expectations.

Been gone for a few days and nothing has changed for us. Brandle just chillin there. If he manages to keep the top 10 and the rest of my Top 50 riders score then it will be a pretty dang nice tour

No idea what's going on with the Kraftwerk riders? Maybe they discovered a stash of Polish potato vodka!

Uran finished a long way back in 19th. His manager won't be too happy with that.
He indeed isn't...

Not perfect by Ndayisenga, but we still have two men in the Top 25, which I would have taken pre-race. Much can change on that final stage. I really wish we would finally join a breakaway. But who knows. Thanks for the reports so far LLS, I enjoy them a lot. And congrats red, looking good for Beltran ...

7th is a good spot for Aranburu, but it feels kind of pointless now since he was already well out of contention. He should be in the top 15 right now even with the terrible prologue. Instead he probably won't get a single point out of the GC.
It's honestly even more frustrating on some level after seeing that the game thought he was a contender for this stage. If he's a favorite for the toughest stage of the race, why is he sitting back and losing minutes on far less difficult stages? Doesn't make any sense.
Congrats to redordead! Beltran looks great and he should, as this is a perfect race for him.

They need to swap to some delicious golden Mount Gay Rum! The same drink that's powering Gayral to continued strong breakaway rides #ad

This race doesn't even deserve any comment from me. This pcm is getting more and more comical, how is it possible that a rider with 75MO and 80HI loses 10 minutes and ends up in position 142 in a stage like this that should be exactly his way
