First real test of our ambitions is finally here. Despite of tough competition, I have high expectations here. Top 5/10 for Izagirre/Bernal, white jersey for Bernal (I don´t know anything about his rivals though) and finally battling for top places in Team Classification.
Thanks for great preview Laurens!
EDIT: PS: no more Catafords, Hagas or Dees(es) in top5 please

Decent rides from Zoidl and Talansky. Hope they can get a good result on Stage 2. Think that is what will define our race.
Thanks for the report.

Given the profile and startlist, not bad from either Roe or Sterobo . Think the final hill was too steep to have expected more from either of them. Roe especially still in with a shot at a minor GC spot if he can hang on tomorrow. Sterobo would need it be really really unselective and he's far enough down where that wouldn't help him much anyway.

Competitive enough first stage from Fraile, Oliveira in the hunt as well. Hopefully we'll be attentive tomorrow and not lose silly time as we're clearly in the hunt for a podium here.

Very mixed start for us! Cool to see Foss ride into white, but on the other hand a very underwhelming effort from Laengen. At least it takes away any real chance to ride for a GC result, meaning we should be all in trying to win stage 2 with Amezawa |

Hoped for Spilak to get a better result, but it seems the climb didn´t have the impact I hoped it would. Zmorka on the other hand (as well as a strong Munoz and Osorio) with a decent result, whereas better allrounder Affonso finishes around the same time of Sterbini. Interesting results
Ideal scenario for tomorrow would be a strong stage result of Spilak, possibly taking time on better time trialists, whereas Zmorka´s assignment is losing as little time as possible to still fight for a GC position in the time trial. Congrarulations on the win to fjhoekie and thanks for the report tu U.U.

Meh performance for us, but that was expected.
Pluchkin is still OP

Horrible performance by Masnada. Not even going to speak about the rest of the "team".

It's clear that this team isn't any good by CT standards, let alone PCT standards

It was fun seeing Asgreen be so aggressive early, but having our entire team miss that split ensured that this race will be (not unexpectedly) a fruitless one. Maybe Sterobo can hugely overperform tomorrow, but the fact that he didn't make the peloton today does not lend itself to that outcome.

Wouldn't have thought I'd ever write something like this, but I'm actually done with this season. Just no fun at all following that bunch of crappy guys. See you in 2022. Maybe.

AC obviously not as good as last year, but given the level of competition he's still riding super well! Sitting 7th coming into the final stage is strong, with legitimate hopes to overcome Bakelants and maybe even Fernandes for a Top5. It'll be fun to watch.
Morales Ortega the latest Caribbean to show some fight and putting their hat in the ring for a future contact. I'm enjoying the aggressive racing they are all showing so far. I'm also keeping an eye on Mayer as he battles for a Top10 in the Youth ranking.
For next season i'd like to see the KoM re-worked to not so heavily favour the stage winner, just as an idea.

Finally a non completely rigged by anti-Baltic coalition race. In good position to get at least 2nd with 3 more in top 30.

Uran in the same group as Zmorka
He has to get into the top ten by the end of the race hopefully.
