Urgh that’s heartbreaking. Congrats beagle
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Finally back home from holiday, and seeing the world championships rolling is great!
Enjoyed the U23 race a lot, looks like it slightly favours the climbers over the pure puncheurs indeed. Great race by Foss to get 4th. Must admit I started believing in even more when I saw him level with the brightest talents with 2 to go, and hanging on to 4th is great. Congratulations on the win, beagle!
Phinney doing what had to be expected of him in the Elite TT. Congratulations, Croatia! A great, great season for you in every way possible
Also, thank you to all of you for your reports so far, reporters! |

Congrats to cio, although we might not see Herklotz in rainbows very often next season... He will be preoccupied by wearing the race leader's jerseys.
Looks like Tenorio gave everything he had in a support role given his struggles late and Simon Yates managed a better finishing result in 16th.
Thanks for another thrilling report to close out the season.

Can't get any better for Herklotz. Probably should retire immediately for the dream end of career.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Congratulations, cio! Monumental win, only adding to his already superb legacy.
Super happy for Kwiatkowski and his medal Running away with bronze was more than hoped for, but also the way he got there. He rode a brilliant tactical race, beating several riders who on paper looked at least as good as him.
Feel sorry for knockout and MAL, as he was really strong and animated the race. Fingers crossed he'll get new opportunities, at least his age helps him get more chances in the future. And with the U23 race in mind, the thought of the future Colombian team for the punchy/mountainous WCs looks really, really frightening! |

Too bad it would end up in silver for Lecuisinier, but with 84MO and 79HI Herklotz is just too damn strong. With that in mind I'm very happy with silver here from Lecuisinier, but it would have been cool to finally win the worlds!
Big congrats on the win mate!

5th place and more or less 1st of the pure punchuers is a good result, but I think this will probably be Kinoshita's best chance at the Rainbow stripes, so tough to not win it. Especially to lose to climbers who will now get a chance again sooner (although they are obviously great MO/Hil riders and deserve the result).

A very fitting winner here. My riders were a bit absent, definitely hoping for something flat or cobbled next year.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Thanks for all the reports from the Worlds. Some good race and big congrats to cio on getting the rainbow with Herklotz.
Good TT by Würtz, but no surprise seeing Phinney getting the win. Very happy with the silver, hopefully he can challenge for the gold in the upcoming years.
