I'm with stupid 2021 - Game 6, Round 1
Generally speaking, this was a very even round: 14 participants, no single answer granted more than 6 points. That means that no answer could really sink your round, but the amount of points to be had in total was also relatively low - consistency was key here.
1. Name an occasion for eating food.
I was very curious whether you'd go for "festive" occasions or more mundane like the meals of the day and indeed, both came up. Birthdays took the cake, so to speak, with 5 mentions ahead of dinner (3) and breakfast (2). The most basic one, hunger, comes away with just 1 point.

2. Name a dish that is commonly associated with a specific country other than Pizza.
Despite the exclusion of Pizza (or maybe because that drew attention to it), Italy remains the country most associated with specific foods. However, specificity or lack thereof precluded anyone from scoring big: Both Pasta and Spaghetti were mentioned three times, Lasagne an additional one. Outside of Italy, Burgers also gave you the top score with three mentions.

3. Name an alcoholic beverage other than beer and wine.
Whiskey turned out to be the top answer of the round with 6 mentions, but Vodka was a very close second, giving you 5 points.
4. Name a non-alcoholic beverage.
After the first handful of answers, I looked like Water would run away with this, but then Corporate America struck back and (Coca) Cola equaled the total number of points, 5 to each. Other sugary drinks followed, but with 2 points at most for Juice.

5. Name something that is essential at a restaurant other than food.
I was very curious about the answers to this one and perhaps predictably, this wound up the second very diverse question with again just 3 points as the maximum. Both the human element (Chefs and Waiters/Staff) as well as material stuff (Cutlery/Dishes, Tables, Drinks) gave a couple of points, only the elusive Atmosphere stood alone.

All of this leaves us with 3 round co-winners, Nemolito, jandal7 and Marcovdw - although all 3 of them are 2 points off a perfect round - and another 4 participants within 2 points of the lead. So, not much to be gained from this round, but a few of you already have a small deficit to make up in the coming rounds.

I'm with stupid 2021 - Game 6, Round 2
While the previous round was characterized by evenly spread answers, this round had some big points to offer, consequently more than doubling the points of the round winner. Two questions (and their top answer) stood out particularly, which meant that missing just one of those could tank your entire round. Let's go through them one by one:
1. Name an African city.
There were three different answers here, but Cairo was clearly the top one, being named 8 times compared to the South African duo of Cape Town (4) and Johannesburg (2).
2. Name an Asian city.
I expected Beijing to have a bit more of a chance, but Tokyo crushed it, being the top answer in one of the most lopsided questions in the game's history. 12 for the Japanese capital, just 2 for the Chinese.
3. Name a South American city.
This was the second most points to be had: 10 for Rio de Janeiro. Again, I had expected Buenos Aires to at least come close, but it ended up with just 3 points. Still better than the lonely 1 for Sao Paolo, though.
4. Name a Central American city.
The last two questions were the most balanced ones. In Central America, Panama City narrowly beat Mexico City 7 to 5 (there's an argument to be had whether Mexico City actually is Central American, but that's not what this is about, after all). Havana and San Salvador were named once each.
5. Name a European city.
I fully expected this to be a two city race, and indeed, Paris and London battled until the very end, when the French capital took a final 7 to 6 lead. kandesbunzler's patriotic choice of Berlin, knowing it wouldn't be the "correct" choice, was the lone deviation.
Standings
Nemolito manages to get a perfect round, FreitasPCM just barely misses it by one point. roturn and DarkWolf are actually also just one question away from a perfect round, but missing out on Cairo and Rio de Janeiro, respectively, proved costly. The middle of the table is really close, but bbl falls off at the bottom as the only one missing both of the top two answers.
In the overall standings, Nemolito takes the lead, already with a good margin on ivaneurope and Marcovdw. Freitas made a big jump, but is still somewhat suffering from the poor Round 1. With only 9 points between second and second-to-last, and Nemolito only one bad round away from being right in that mix, it's still anyone's game.

Limited choices
1. Name a day of the week.
2. Name a month.
3. Name a decade of the 20th century.
4. Name a consonant.
5. Name a vowel.
This is a bit of an experimental one and I imagine some of these could be pretty lopsided again, but I'm honestly not sure, which makes it fun. Deadline is Monday, June 12th, 8pm daily time.

I’m going to blame this all on being 5 or 6 during the 2008 Olympics making me discover Beijing before Tokyo and therefore subconsciously thinking it’s more well known
