It's crazy how it's only 2nd tier sprinters left in the race sprinting.
Ewan, Groenewegen, Bennett, Ackermann, Gaviria missing, Merlier, van der Poel, van Aert not sprinting (only Demare here, but he is really missing Sinkeldam it seems). This is not a Tour de France-worthy sprint line-up, no wonder the break almost won.
However, I'm very happy for Cav though I never liked him. It was a pleasure to see him this emotional about his victory.

Cavendish beating Bouhanni for a 2021 TdF win is a mood I wasn't prepared for
mood I hate to feel

Wasn't a big Cav fan in his heyday but this win was very emotional. Super happy for him. Didn't think he could do it but he proved me wrong. Leads points jersey as well! |

Bissegger made a crazy third section losing just 2" with all the slippery turns at the finish

Wout and Mathieu exactly equal at the 1/100 second. They're trolling us at this point.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I like that we haven't seen a single mountain yet but we already have decided on a overall winner

Unless Pogocar crashes out or cracks unbelievably hard for some reason, this race is over.
