The Autumn Italian classics would be the logic choice in my opinion, as he has mainly raced there this year.
On another note, I think Stefan Bissegger is doinrg amazing things on his first full year as a pro… beast in a TT bike, two pro wins already, classics rider physique… I just hope this is not an unjustified hype and he can confirm all his potential and grab some bigger wins. |

Rui Costa finally wins a stage… only to be relegated, and fairly, for an irregular sprint. |

I don't want to be cynical, but if I was a QS lender, I wouldn't appreciate Alaphilippe retiring while sitting in 3rd place in GC with his paycheck...

All World Tour stage races this year were either won by Ineos (massive dominance: Bernal, Yates, Thomas, Porte and Carapaz); UAE (Pogacar) and Jumbo (Roglic), bar Paris-Nice where Roglic hadn’t crashed, he would might’ve also conquered the GC.
These are basically the greatest GC teams in the world at the moment and will probably reflect that momentum on the Tour de France. Incredible dominance, but once again, the versatility of options from the Skyneos guys is evident once more. Nonetheless, interesting fact (or a rather worrying/boring one?) |

It's quite interesting in my view. Jumbo's reign seems rather finished, but Roglich still looks like a GT winner. Pogacar seems to be the strongest rider in the peloton atm, while Ineos should be the best team.
Pogacar vs Ineos should look like an interesting duel.

It's a horrible fact. Ineos is stronger than ever and literally killing stage racing. Classics are the only thing left to look forward to.

Can't wait to see a massive Pogacar attack behind brought back by Ineo's fourth rider in the Tour |

It's a problem that they don't have a clear leader such as Wiggins/Froome in their prime.
Now they have lots of riders who can win and they do well to regularly go 1-2-3 or 1-3 with their advantage in amount of top riders. The other teams can't really focus a single rider and allow others to attack anymore. |

Everybody commenting about Pogacar’s nuclear power but has he ever made 12 riders finish outside the time limit on a time trial like Anna van der Breggen has at the Giro Donne? |

I guess Ineos dreams of having at Tour de France the strength that SD Worx has at Giro Donne. |

Wow, that is really impressive! Although I could see this year's Pogacar do the same to Cav and 11 others.
