I am absolutely thrilled to see Fortunato join Taco van der Hoorn on the list of stage winners.
I absolutely love how Bernal riders this Giro and not only.
And I am absolutely convinced if heavy snow Castroviejo could plow the streets on his bike. |

I am not as thrilled as Contador though.

Breakaways get a free pass if Bernal shows no sign of weakness, I understand teams thinking what’s the point in chasing if we are going to get wrecked.
Nice seeing Eolo win, no idea who this Fortunato guy was but they’ve accomplished their race first than many other stronger teams. |

Exactly, it is 'W'Ineos responsibility to chase breakaways...thats the burden of being the strongest GC team.
IMO, there is no need to chase down anyone outside of the top 3 EVER if you are not the team leading the race. Doing so just plays into the hands of the maglia rosa. |

What the hell was Astana doing setting pace for the first half of the race?
This is becoming a seriously concerning pattern...where Astana acts as a surrogate Ineos team and saves the Grenadiers from working... |

Love that guy, pure emotion. Amazing victory for this young team, freaking Zoncolan. Fortunato probably will get a pro tour contract after such a win but this one will remain! Aurum power!

Caruso 3rd in GC. Landa would have annihilated this Giro...

Send them boys in crazy long Giro breakaways and trust in the traditional Ineos Giro blunder

Hate me for it but seeing Nibali and Froome (although for other reason) struggle and fade into oblivion makes me happy Contador managed to retire with a phenomenal stage win in a gun blazing Vuelta.

At least the breakaway wins add a bit of tension to the GTs. The GCs are broken anyway in the Skyneos era; most of the times it's really boring to watch those GCs nowadays. Sadly.
I agree. However, it's nice when we can see such a splendid win like Lorenzo's today.

Well, they tried to set the pace, they wanted throw off Egan's teammates maybe. There's an amusing phrase in Russian that Aleksandr surely knows: 'Все мы задним умом крепки', i.e. 'We all are wise after the event'.
P.S. Ineos is the player's team with all training camps available, all others - the AI's

Let's save the history of PCM together!
Just write me a PM if you have something for old PCM Editions (from 2005 to 2014) - databases, stages, shirts etc. and we'll share it.

The problem is that this is like the 5th time Ive seen Astana basically ride for the Sky or Ineos GC rider.
In 2018 (Giro stage 20), the collusion was barely disguised at all.
Either Astana is epicly dumb and incapable of learning from mistakes (like Movistar)...or something else is going on. |

Hate to say it, but I agree. Any team that thinks they can beat Ineos by doing the pacemaking instead is kidding themselves. I'm not sure anyone's really found a way to beat Sky, but that certainly isn't it. You just end up doing their work for them.

Emu abandons alongside Van Emden and Berhane after a rough crash. That sucks!

I just don't really care about another breakaway day to be honest. I want to, but I just don't.
