Moscon trying to stay with Nibali in that downhill . What a funny moment. Of course he crashes
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

I was surprised to see this as well because I thought he was in his mid 30s.

I know it was a pointless attack in terms of the stage/GC, but it's just fun to see Nibali let loose on a descent and cause a touch of chaos.

Exactly Maybe Nibali just wanted to demonstrate that in respect of downhill skills he still has it. But yeah attack was pointless

I will admit: I laughed quite a bit. What a hilarious piece of cycling.
Very happy to see Nibali attack, even if it was for minimum gains. He's gaining rythm, so it can be a fun last week if he and Ciccone are up for some long range attacks.
Very good win by Vendrame today |

And the Portuguese commentators saying seconds before there was no need to chase Nibali… priceless.
I don’t know what happened but Bennett and Brambilla really made a fool out of themselves today. Vendrame would win either way, looked the strongest. First WT win for Ag2r this year too, wow. |

Brambilla was really mad at Bennett it seems. He wasn't happy at how Bennett handled those final few km's.
He's been relegated to last in the group because of his sprint as well.

I laughed as well. Could not resist.
I guess commentators were laughing as well
Lets hope that Nibali/Ciccione will provide some entertainment to us later on.
Does anybody know what happened between Brambilla and Bennett? Brambilla seemed pissed off at the finish line.
But great to see Vendrame winning.

So happy for Nizzolo. He really deserved it. About the most meaningful outcome that could happen from a pure flat day at this point.

This had to be the stage, took so long for Nizzolo. In a team that has lodged so many decadent riders, he has sure found a new light in his career. |

At least the breakaway wins add a bit of tension to the GTs. The GCs are broken anyway in the Skyneos era; most of the times it's really boring to watch those GCs nowadays. Sadly.
