I thought that was a pretty handy result in the ITT from Jaco, I now see thanks to Ripley's stats it was a brilliant one
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Tough to see Bol caught so close before the line, but great to see the team active! |

Aru with a great TT. TTT was dissapointing though. 4th in GC so far is pretty good I think

Stages 7-9 of Tour are on!
Spoiler Really, really apologize to krisa in first place as Aru DNF on stage 9. I think he crashed out early in the stage because I completely missed that out while running race and realised it much later on. Believe me. I'm not doing this on purpose.
Herrada on the other hand looks pretty strong right now. I wonder if anyone will be able to catch him. 6'30" lead over 3rd place after 9 stages is big.
Green jersey battle seems to be open too as few big names are still in touch for 1st place. |

Hehe and now Goos does well.
Cool video reports though, maybe could you add timestamps as well for each stage?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I thought leaders crashing out only happened once every few years... This year must be a huge statistical outlier then ^^

Crap to lose Aru in this race, formed up to be a great GC battle. I hope krisa is not blaming dominox here, otherwise this would really be out of line. Dominox is doing a tremendous job of delivering races throughout the season, especially with the full coverage of the Grand Tours. Really doesn't deserve here any blame or bad comments.
Herrada in yellow is good + stage win, but the only gap that matters is to Quintana and he certainly is still easily within striking distance.
Animo Herrada!

My condolences, krisa!
@Fabianski: You could always go back and check the old results thread.
Nothing much to report on BP; Rafal and Tao not at their best so far, but we still have a long way to go. Shame to lose Cano, though.

Lavery didn't do terrible, but I think his lack of a strong team hurts him more than I realized it would. He's constantly yoyoing once the group thins out and the stronger teams carry like 5 guys at the front very late on.

Herklotz is doing an amazing job to bring the fight to Bardet (I curse you and your entire family, DaveTwoBoB! ), there's still a chance to take the GC if we can win stage 4 in a sprint and overcome the serious HI deficit on stage 5.
The first stage was a brilliant Bosch train showing until the big guns took over, although it did made Auer drop a fair bit in the end. Getting so close to Bardet on the line is a very encouraging sign going forward in Silvio's development.
Stage 2 saw us going for an early push in pace on the flat to help Silvio make use of his flat advantage, which quickly led to things falling apart in the first slopes of the mountain though.
Auer did a good job getting back up there soon after to provide some more protection to Herklotz, and in the end it was again just that bit too hard to get past the top climber.
Stage 3 went our way entirely, with the break denying the sprinters the points for green, which depending on the points spread in stages 4 and 5 and Silvio's sprint in stage 6 could see us compete for green on the final day.
Hopefully, second in KoM can be maintained until the end, and being in the teams classification lead is a great feat as well and would give much needed bonus points in a focus race.
So ideally, I'm hoping for two more top 3's in s4 and s5 and a surprise sprint not unlike what Herklotz already showed on s3, finishing 6th from the peloton.
Second in most classifications wouldn't be a bad focus race, although it pains me to see how easily we would've dominated this race if not for this pesky Frenchman!
Kigali, on the other hand, was another serious disappointment from our cobbles squad.
Pugh did very well to give it an early try and hung on to some ranking points, but Harrison Adams has been thoroughly unconvincing this entire season.
I'm seriously worried for the implications for his development on the one hand, and whether putting a secondary focus on cobbles centering around him in the future is the right move.
It's not like he's significantly underperforming and finishing way down in his races, but looking at how every cobbles race has some underdogs hanging on very long, it's not good enough.
Maybe I should've made a push for a U23 team to give Adams and others some artificial success after all.

Apologies again for entering Bardet in österreich, the extra 2 focus races caused some serious Suntory scheduling shenanigans.
Herklotz with Bosch support doing worryingly well
Commiserations to krisa, don’t like crashes it spoils the contest IMHO.

Caruso had a terrible start to the Tour with losing 4 min in the TT and losing additional time on a flat stage. He has actually manged to perform very well on the 2 mountain stages so far though, but something around 10th in gc won't bring many points I'm afraid (I should have known that earlier though ). My hopes still lie within breakawys but it looks like with Cambianca crashing out, the rest aren't strong enough. But hopefully they'll keep on trying at least!
Sorry krisa about Aru, that really sucks.
Thanks for the reports dominox and congrats Shonak so far.

Great to see this heavy score in Kigali, we need it to compensate our GCists who are fighting for secondary placements in Austria (and likely in Vancouver too). Let's hope Talansky will improve his results in Portugal, and maybe we can take back Prestige ranking top spot, with concession by Herklotz/TCT of course...

Well I want to celebrate a huge stage 9 for KBC. Nairo with a great day, but the ride of the day goes to Henao, to not only protect Nairo until late but take 11th place and help us take a lead in the teams competition (although doubt that will last). Wasn't sure why Herrada was going so hard while Nairo sat their in Henao's wheel but I will take it. And he helped create a major time gap to the rest of the field.
Nairo still has 2.25 to make up after Herrada destroyed the field in Stage 8 but the time gaps tend to be big and he made up that much in the Giro without Henao's help.
All that said I would feel much better if we had put 5 minutes into Aru on the course rather than him crashing out. Huge sympathy there, that is definitely my nightmare.
Thanks for the reports and videos.

Senechal can't win a race to save his life, what a loser
