I'm excited to find out one day if Pidcock is also still as good on long climbs as he has been in the U23s.

And with one day you mean when he inevitably wins the Vuelta later this year? Pfft

Trentin didn't even sprint.

He spends way too much time attacking when he should be saving himself for a reduced group sprint in these races. Had he shown more intelligence over the last couple of seasons imo I think he would've won some big races.

If Ineos can turn Thomas into a Tour winner then I'm sure Pidcock will be more than capable of winning grand tours before too long.

From a British point of view it's good to finally have someone who might get some decent results in the classics.

Lizzie Deignan, Lizzie Banks, Alice Barnes & Hannah Barnes would all like to point out they are British and have all contested wins in the biggest classics in the last year (plus various stage races)

Yeah I quite like him for a while now so it's been sad to see him go from "Would have won some big races but he was stuck behind all the Quickstep leaders" to "Would have won some big races but is too impatient/dumb" Pfft

Like most people on this thread, I am referring to the men's races.

It's a nice change having a stage race without any real big names and no big teams to control everything all day.

Not knowing who anyone is = anything can happen.

The Tour of Valencia should be interesting too as there don't seem to be any major GC names there.

One thing’s for sure, wherever they race, Uno-X are sure to be involved in making the race interesting. Really like this team, aside from Halvorsen I have absolutely no clue who these riders are but they have got a fan in me now thanks to their racing, regardless of their lesser competitive names (in theory).

Though this Charmig guy think miscalculated the final toughness of the climb today.

I think they have a Top5 team in terms of overall talent. Waerenskjold, Hindsgaul and Johansen could become superstars, Larsen, Halvorsen, Hvideberg, Rodenberg and Sleen have huge Potential as well. Charmig (won the Taiwan challenge) and Traeen are good climbers, M.Hoelgaard has a WT engine but sadly lacks race IQ. Price, Hulgaard, Tiller and Resell have some very good engines. And I didn't start with their u23-Team (Dare) yet, who have some very talented riders like CX-guy Johannessen, Aasheim and Loland.

I loved them on the cobbles as well, always there and ready to race! Kinda like Topsport Vlaanderen before are their talents got kidnapped.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

If they call him "Mohorovic" one more time at Eurosport I'm going to loose my mind.

SSJ2Luigi
until I see a photo finish, I believe that Pidcock won

This route definitely made the race more exciting from longer out, no question. But I kind of missed the Cauberg sprint.

The image they keep showing is 5-10 cm late. If they don’t find something better, call it a tie.

Very close but a "clear" advantage for Wout. Astana and Israel really played the wrong cards, having very strong Lutsenko, Fuglsang and Neilands working but finishing outside the Top10 with their main men. Sbaragli and van der Sande the big surprises.

Also Vansevenant stronger than Alaphilippe imo.

Never Ineos Smile

Hopefully Wout
