Can't entirely agree with Forever's selection. A Danish team and still he didn't sign Fuglsang or Lander! (Plus, Schorn is way better than Palini. )

Big welcome to Forever, I hope you have fun here in the ICL
I'm put together their kit and NZL NC, might not be finished today but just wanted to make sure multiple people weren't doing it at the same time lol

Hey, I've been in a horribly unproductive state of mind the last while, but at least I managed to just send in our research to ensure you'll all gonna hate Herklotz as much in ICL as you do in the MG.
Honestly though, I'll try to get race selections done ASAP. It's mostly the minor races that still look like a mess to me.

One important question:
Considering we can't manually calculate rider averages and race days after training, am I correctly assuming that any effects training will have on the available amount of race days for a rider will only apply next season?

No, I believe you will lose race days right away. I checked Ludvigsson last season, he had 58 RD with AVG 77.5 and was trained to 78.6 and went down to 54 RD.

Ok thanks!
Well if that's really the case and I can't quantify the RD loss for Herklotz on my own with the files available atm, I could really use that information as it could obviously change race selection plans a little.

You are obviously right, usually we only had race selection after research was thorough.
Here is the updated db with all training, as well as loyalty and AoD updated: https://www.mediafire.com/file/blsdc2x....xlsx/file |

My U23 riders all have a loyalty of 0, was that intentional? I can see that my riders on the main team who have come through development have those years counted (e.g. Guan with 3) so it seems odd that they don't have those seasons noted.

This DB looks very interesting. CCC as the new sprinter gods of ICL and Villela with some solid training making the hills even more competitive.
I think this ICL season might be one of the closest - with some teams having strong leaders assembled (BP, Ceramica, KBC) challenging the depth of Grupo this year.

ANNOUNCEMENT
Since there is race planning coming soonTM I offer my services in this matter. Basically if you know you won't have time to do it fast and you know it might take a while to do so... I can take care of it. Whenever race planning will go up, just give me a shoutout, tell me your main ideas around your leaders and I'll do planning for your team. Of course you will decide if this planning is fine for your team before sending it further. |

Race Planning:
Please download this sheet: https://www.mediafire.com/file/azd466s....xlsm/file
#1 Open the DB and copy/paste your entire team in the tab "Riders". Replace the example riders that are there.
#2 Go to tab "Teams". Look for the column with your team IDs in it. Copy that column. Go to "Selected Races" and paste it in G1, overwrite "Selected?". In "Races" you now see all your races listed and also race clashes, please remember them.
#3 Now onto the actual Planning: In "Planning", you'll see your riders listed aswell as the races. First press the "Clashes" button to have clashing races marked, also unnecessary cells will be hidden. You can sort the riders by name, remaining race days and their stats that are shown there, simply by pressing the buttons on top. If you want a rider to take part in a race put a 1 in the according cell.
#4 Try to send full teams to all races you are taking part in. In row 3 you see how much riders are needed.
Pressing the clashes button will hide unneeded cells and mark the clashes below.
Rules:
#1 Every rider has to race at least 20 race days and not more than written in the DB.
#2 Riders are not allowed to take part in clashing races, please remember that.
#3 You have to send full teams to WT races and a minimum of 5 riders to CT races, if you can't manage to do that pm me and we'll find a solution.
#4 WT teams regulations in CT races can be found here: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1188170
The "Check" button will show if any rider is planned for clashing races. In case you go over the max allowed race days or send a rider to a race he is not allowed to take part in there will also a field turn red.
When done, please upload the file this time and send a link.
----
Focus Races:
Please send in 5 focus races. How you perform in these races have an influence on your budget for next season. Within these races has to be at least two stage races and two one-day races. You are free to choose from every race you are participating in, no matter if WT or CT team/race. Depending on how much points you score in the focus race you get money added or removed from next season's budget. The TdF can bring the biggest bonus in budget, but when failed it can also give the biggest minus. After that there are monuments/other GTs, WT, CT.1, CT.2 races in that order. This task has only to be done for your main team, not the U23 team.
Send both tasks to Croatia14

What do we need to copy paste and send to Croatia, the rider ID's from the startlist tab, or just something A3 - BF21 (for example) in the planning tab (or something else?)?

Previously we were supposed to actually send file itself I believe, somehow didn't see that in post here this year. |

Yeah, the real fun finally starts - headaches coming up
So for the focus races, terrain variance isn't a factor anymore? I.e. we can choose 5 mountainous races if we want to?
